- In July 2012, Tom Livingstone and Tom Ripley made a 2 day ascent of the Cassin Ridge on the South Face of Denali. This is perhaps the youngest British ascent.
The pair spent 5 weeks in the Alaskan Mountains, climbing a number of routes in the Kahiltna Glacier basin, before moving to 14,000ft Camp on Denali. They intended to attempt a new route on the Father & Son Wall, a subsidiary face of Denali, but unfortunately did not.
Tom and Tom are indebted to the following organisations; without their support the expedition would not have taken place.
Financial Support from: BMC , Mount Everest Foundation and Welsh Sports Association.
Equipment was supplied by: Anatom, Cotswold Outdoor, First Ascent and Mountain Equipment.

Fantastic video, I only discovered it 8 years after the fact. Well done in both video making and mountain climbing!
Excellent. Thank you for the video.
Looks like you lads had the fortune of amazing weather conditions on the Cassin. Great work!
was thinking the same thing. The weather looked amazing!
Excellent vid and good job climbing that beast!
Did this route in1975 alpine style in 4/5 days (one day of storm). and the secret to a very fast ascent is pre acclimatization, which is pretty easy in this region. Then it all depends how fast you can acclimatize to 20K.
i know it is kind of randomly asking but does anyone know a good website to watch new movies online ?
@Sergio Dexter Meh I use flixportal. just google after it:P -declan
@Declan Kaiden thanks, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) Appreciate it!!

Great vid! Looks like a mad good climb
One of the classic alpine ascents. This is my bucket list.
