There is an AA adapter shim in the door you need to remove, by sliding it out. There is a diagram in the user guide that will show you where it is: pubs.shure.com/guide/P3RA/en-US.pdf
If it’s the P3R, it uses any AA battery. If it’s the P3RA, and you want the rechargeable option, then the battery would be the SB900A. You would also need the SBC200 charger.

Thanks for reply. I have that battery and it doesn't seem to close when the battery is in pack.
