What's up guys, I am Pheonixmaster1 and welcome back for more Fire Emblem Heroes. In this video, I go over Fodder Tier List to give you a basic guideline of the units that you should value more for SI potential and which ones you should send home to clear out your barracks.

I am back to working on my Resource Hub, you will see updated Sacred Seal Priority List & Tier List Video in few days.
Nice, was just about to ask. Sitting on 500 coins atm.
I saw the update of the seals, excited to see the video about it. I like the new tiers for it. I have all the Top ones done, and have most of the high ones done with a some mid and low completed for my niche builds. Really wish more coins would be available to handle all these seals.
There have been plenty of coins imho for seals. I am at over 500 atm and have done all except the crap ones to tier 2 and most of the good ones to tier 3. Just did some quick math and have spent over 2750 on seals so far.
I think you should do a list for heroes to make 5 star. Including heroes from Grand Hero Battles, but not Tempest Trials, since you get them as 4 and 5. For the list, you should make 2 lists. One without any Skill Inheritance, and one that allows it.
Probably super good at arena assault. I normally only get about 15-17 each week. I can't maintain tier 20 as I have 0 5*+10 units and have played the game since day one. I also deprioritized merging for nearly the first year of the game and my highest merge is Masked Marth at 5*+5. I don't even have any solid 4* +10 either.
I've only upgraded (FULLY): Attack+, Speed+, Close Defense, Distant Defense, Heavy Blade, Brash Assault, Quick Riposte, Savage Blow, Drive Def, Hone Speed, Def Tactic, Panic Ploy, Attack Smoke, Guidance, and Deflect Magic. I have also created every seal the game offers. I've unlocked every seal from every quest and event to date (having only needing to create (most of) the spur seals and all deflect seals).
Just an estimate, but my combined total is closer to 2310 or so. When AA was first released, I didn't play it ton as I had issues completing it. I also didn't understand how the scoring worked. As I said, my weekly income is pretty low only hitting the 10k range on AA. This is due to my initial team only hitting opponents around 700-710. So I don't break 5000 very easily or at all (both arena and arena assault).
I'd like to have the ploys fully upgraded along with some others (Fortifies/Hone Attack, other deflects, etc).

I love these types of videos and very glad to see them back! Just a suggestion, but could you make a tier list about which duplicate 5*s you could merge and which you should fodder? I’m on the fence about a few so that would be great!

I know that feel. I have a +8 one and he's really good though. with the Wo Carrot and Moonbow.
There are worse dagger units than him at least I have a friend in my list who runs a decent Matthew.

Masked Marth would probably be bottom of the barrel cause he sucks when it comes to Skill Inheritance. But, Masked Marth is pretty much a free Lucina so don’t send him home!

Thank you for amazing vid as usual! For me, I only build and invest in unit that I like. Therefore I always send home unit I couldnt care less about.

I wish Raigh or Oboro got an upgrade to their rally skills. That would make them rank higher in the tier list. Like Oboro could have rally def/res and I wouldn't mind summon her.

I've gotten pity-broken by Marth so many times and I hate it, he has nothing that you'd really want for fodder... just Escape Route and Spur Spd...

Does anyone know what happens when a healer equips Fire Boost 3 and something like Recover+, and then tries to heal someone low on HP? Just curious if the healing will increase. (It would be easier to figure out myself if Fire Boost wasn't still locked to 5*.)
I always use this whenever i get a new unit in case they are useful for fodder. And i trust your judgement.
Tremaine Sadipe I am also smart and I believe the Black Knight is great wings of mercy fodder whenever you get one fodder it off
wortmore I see you’re very smart. I am smart too as I believe that Azura is a great Spd +3 fodder and should always be foddered off to your Gwendolyns.

wortmore I used my 4* BK as a Wings of mercy fodder and I regret it
I actually did do this with my Black Knights. Same with his steady stance. I don't quite regret it but I wouldn't mind getting that $3 pack to get him again one day
Thanks for this. I have a ton of units laying around and I've been trying to decide which ones to send home.
But I still have another problem, I'm currently on Lunatic difficulty of Book 2 and the newest mission available, and I desperately need orbs. I'm trying to summon for Spring Lucina, Catria, and if I can, Sharena. I've already got Chrom and Xander but Lucina has cost me so many orbs and I can't reliably/consistently get more. Is there really no way to get orbs after you beat most of the story and paralogues? Special Maps only give a few unless its a BHB.

A few days ago I commented asking how you do special battles and you did reply which I am very happy about but I don’t know how to use those softwares so please can you do a video?
Is there any possibility that this will be updated? I know I shouldn't send home like Ares or Libra but I would love your opinion on some other units that have been demoted in the last few months.

I totally agree with this list, even though I've sent some of the higher tier units home when they were 3*.
I don’t know if this is just me or not, but I’m just to OCD to make incomplete builds with Death Blow 2 and such, I just like building units all at once...😂
omg same. I also hate it when I watch my units and there is somewhere only a 2 instead of a 3
JulianJ508 Same here, everytime I look at my Nino I just stare at her LnD2 for a second before doing anything else
The only skill you might want the 2 instead of 3 on is fury 2 over fury 3. And that’s only in very very mathematically specific situations

Nice video, though i did make me go through the sad realization that i haven't pulled a selena or barst in months. I'm extremely lacking in reposition. At least i got a klein this morning
This was very helpful. The problem I run into is that my barracks is packed full of GHB units because I never merge them or send them home. Do I need every Navarre or F!Robin the game has released? No, but I feel kinda bad sending limited units home...
Um, can anyone tell me how guard works? To me it just seems like a horrible skill, and so i can’t see why a character having guard 2 would put them highish in the fodder skill? I read the description of guard and it just doesnt make sense to me

Hey, have you done "How good are they?" Videos for Legendary Ike and Gunnthra?
I usually keep 1 character of the common 4 stars incase there ends up being some certain quests where you have to get KOs with them or if they are going to get their own unique weapon in future updates and just for catalog.

I got pity broken by a -Atk +HP Merric once, his Atk would've been so terrible I just sent him home immediately.
24:56 But Raven's better off with Draconic Aura too, if you're going with Double L&D Basilikos and Heavy Blade SS and get him into Desperation (Which is easier than you may think thanks to dat HP tho) He can proc special every round of combat except on certain M!Grima builds on certain team comps and maybe on some Ayra or Lon'zu builds. Personally I prefer Dragon Fang on Elincia, because with two Goad Fliers and a Ward Fliers she can take a hit quite safely and quad, meaning she procs on the last hit.
Welp, I threw away most of those units for feathers. Rest in peace. Great vid!

mmm i upgrade Seliph and, if you can use a team with a lot of def buff, units with brash assault is really cool
My best team got Athena and Setsuna (with SI to reemplace her naturals skills so... they are damn awesome)

Spur Def/Res > Spur Atk/Spd imo, spur skills are easier to use in enemy phase and Def/Res is so good for mixed tanks.
Agreed, I actually have a weird build on my Clarine so she can be a healer/buffer with spur def/res on her C slot and the spur def seal on, she can give a unit +5 Def and +3 Res while also being next to them and healing them. It works surprisingly well, and I only had to sacrifice a -Spd 4* M!Morgan. I'm thinking of running a different seal so that she can give +3 Def/Res and maybe +4 Atk or +4 Spd with that.
Yes, double Spurs on healers make them super useful. Double Spurs also helps owltome users a lot, I would definitely recommend trying it out.

I would argue that Wrys would be B tier as live to serve is really useful for discount HM grinding and rehabillitate isn't bad either
True rehab aint bad but its outclassed when compared to other staffs now due to it only helping units below half while recover physic and so on has a really high amount now
Why would Olivia be above Palla? I think Goad Fliers and Hone Atk are about equal and Palla has everything else going for her so I thought palla would be in S tier.
