Week 3 | Detroit Lions At Arizona Cardinals | Madden 25 Simulation

It's Week 3 of our Madden 25 simulation, and the Detroit Lions are looking to bounce back after a heart-stopping overtime loss to the Buccaneers. Down by 7 with under 90 seconds left after a fumble recovery went for 6, Donovan Peoples-Jones came through in the final seconds to score a game-tying touchdown, sending us into OT. Though our defense held Tampa Bay to a field goal, we couldn't convert on a critical 4th-and-1 at midfield, handing them the win in a nail-biting finish.
The ground game needs work, as do some pass protection areas, while the defensive line struggled to contain Jaylen Warren and Baker Mayfield, who racked up over 100 yards between them. Now we turn our focus to the Arizona Cardinals, sitting at 1-1 after a tough loss to the Bills in Week 1 but coming off a close 14-6 win over the Rams. The Cardinals haven’t put up big scores, averaging only 13 points per game, and they’ve also struggled in the run game. Offensively, we have the advantage, but it’ll take a strong defensive showing to get us back on the winner’s list.
