I'm not sure it's possible to buy a bad JHS pedal. Always a safe bet. (The Charlie Brown drive just kills me.) It's nice when you can find a tool that that covers more than one purpose.
With my Strat & tele yes, with my duesenberg it’s normally a drive with a boost I don’t tend to stack drives with humbuckers but that’s not a hard and fast rule
I recently acquired this pedal on a whim and man it might be my favorite on the board - sounds gorgeous into a truly clean amp!

I love my kilt! Most of the time I run it as a boost to my light overdrive.
That’s cool. I tend to use it with both g toggles down with the gain just over half nice Big Crunch!

I tend to run the volume past unity anyway so haven’t noticed when using the red remote to engage the fuzz or g2 😊
