- I recently visited the tourist town of Playas Villamil. The town is rustic, the beach is beautiful, there's a lot of amazing wildlife, but there's a big problem with trash :(
I hope you enjoy this video. If you do and you want to buy me a coffee I would absolutely love that! You can do that at this link here:

I've never been to Playas Villamil and now for sure, I have absolutely no desire to do so. Thanks for your honesty. Glad to see a vlogger who doesn't sugarcoat everything.
That's too bad with the garbage situation. I guess most if not all politicians have their heads in the sand. Let's get together for a beer when I get there in November.
Thanks for your frank and honest observations. Appreciate your comments.
Thank you as always! Cheers!
Thanks for another great video. Litter has always been a pet peeve of mine. We were taught better. It seems to be a problem in some Latin American countries and poor countries in general. Though I went to Costa Rica 5 times and saw very little trash. The United States is becoming quite trashing as well. Very sad and people just don’t seem to care. Cuenca seems to do a good job of keeping things clean. I don’t think I will go to this beach town, too depressing. I’d rather spend my money in a town that cares.
Greetings from Cotacachi.
This garbage problem was also evident in Romania when I visited there. I guess poor countries have other priorities than garbage collection. There were often embankments on either side of the railroad tracks and villagers would simply toss their garbage down the side of the embankment, so train passengers spent a lot of their time looking at garbage next to the railroad tracks. Boy, you weren't allowed to complain about the garbage though. Doing so made you a rich Western prig who should go back to his own country. I think there was a British journalist, whose name escapes me, who traveled a lot in India and thought a more apt name for the Third World was the Turd World.
Between step moms cork, turtles chocking on plastic and toilet paper butterfles ...this was hilarious. Great vid.
Haha, I'm happy you enjoy my particular variety of humor:) cheers mate!
Yes indeed 😂😂😂
Hey, I noticed your Fulton glass! Do you like Lonely Blonde or Sweet Child of Vine?
Yes, I used to live close to both the brewery and the taproom in Minneapolis. I went there all the time and drank tons of their beers! I love them. You too? Cheers mate!
@@Alvey_en_Ecuador great place, I've had dozens of good times there and took the brew tour once. I've done that at breweries around the world!
La Doña Cervecería is good too. I live out by Wicked Wort so that's kind of my local. Anyways, thanks for the vids. PS I've got a mate in Brisbane so hope to get there sometime
Are there no trash cans on the beach or do people just not use them?
There's only a few trash cans on the beach. I'd say it's a case of nobody cares and nobody uses them. :(
Aw, thanks for the pizzas!! You're a legend Cynthia!
