I just did this look and they turned out great.. I did on blown out hair and only used product on my base and curly pieces so my hair would not revert. Looks great… it gives me vacation vibes also.

I really like this style. I think because of my hair type, I'll test it out on like 2 braids to see if it holds up for even 2 days. My little coils will probably be non-existent by the end of those days.

I LOVE this! I’m curious to know:
1. How as the take down process?
2. Was there damage?
3. Would you do this style again?

I'm also curious before I try this on my 11 year old.
1. The takedown honestly was no different for me than taking out regular plaits, just very time consuming. But keep in mind I did refresh the curls pretty frequently so this might be why I didn’t experience any crazy matting or tangling
2. No damage at all

The result is beautiful! How long did the style last?
I kept it in for about a week and refreshed it a few times out the week just to get the curls juicy again. Definitely could’ve kept it in longer but I had to take it out for work 😢

What is type 4 hair? Do you have 4c hair?
No, I have 4a/4b. Type 4 refers to the shape or your curls, typically s-shaped and/or tightly coiled
It came out great. Your have is very dense though so it would come out good 👍🏽
I agree why blow out your hair and then put gel on it and other products to make it revert back. Also have a plan before you start that would help a lot.👀😱😫👍🏽😃👍🏽❤️🙏🏽
