I really like your approach and perspective on creating music. Often on RUclips/in tutorials it feels like people always treat sound and music in an overly goal oriented manner. Like “how can I sound like this person”, or “these are the samples to use for this” etc etc. But from my experience with producing coming at it from a place of curiosity and self betterment creates much better results in the long run. At the start it doesn’t always sound exactly how you want it but I think that’s important for learning and finding new tricks or avenues you can look down. So refreshing to see a video with this kind of approach and I will definitely be pointing people to this vid in future if they want to get into producing 🫶
You are a natural no one really doubt that! Some hints that can make your channel go from good to a viral thing: -Near field mic to muffle your keystroke they interfere with the beat you’re trying to create, and we’re trying to listen to the differences tweaked. -Activate the mouse cursor glow and keystroke press visual. -And most of all WHY you engage what you engage - “envelope 6, LFO and 2.8 motherfuck” if I knew what it means, especially what it does, would be THE thing that makes me tune out with a gained understanding, instead of a waauw feeling of I just wish I could make that happen too. I’m a CEO not a musician, and have no technical knowledge of music production, yet. Help us help you! And keep up the fantastic work buddy!!
i try to make every video better tutorials it's just hard to read and find all these things besides working and living with ADHD. But the mouse pointer is a very good idea i will try to find something. thanks for the feedback.
A video on producing with ADHD could be interesting. I myself have been struggling with it, having been diagnosed with it as a child and it having never gone away. It can definitely be difficult at times.
@@MordioMusic You will get better with every video you post. You are already good and heading towards greatness. Excited to see videos you continue to release.
just wanted to tell you incase you didn't know, if you select all note in the midi editor(ctrl+A) and then hold Shift and use your arrow keys up or down it will move the notes by octaves its such a time saver
That first point about the importance of knowing how the sound was created for processing afterwards I feel is really going to help my sound design game

Loving the videos and you totally deserve the support! A little tip though - could you scale the Ableton window to be higher? Makes it easier to watch on smaller screens
@@MordioMusic You won't have to switch back to OBS. In the Ableton preferences, under Look Feel there's a setting for zoom display. It just scales the UI up or down. No messing around with recording software required
Awesome video! Thank you! It's always interesting to see other person's workflow and get some new production ideas and tricks this way. Recently I learned new hi hat synthesis trick: you make white noise on a synth, then you apply convolution processing (with Hybrid Reverb in ableton, for example) with any hi hat sample to give it more 'metallic' feel. This way you can get quite interesting results.
@@MordioMusic Hybrid Reverb became my go to tool for impulse responses - both reverbs, guitar cabinet IRs and other sound fx stuff. It was really missing.
I like the homework section :D you should do a video where people send you their approaches and you kinda make it better! :D For me, I was using a huge modular rack for 5 plus years now which took me ages to pay and build and research ... and then I stumbled upon "Abletondaily's" channel those tutorials are like 10+ years old, and tried to build those drones and sounds and I was like wow this program is powerful :D So i kinda did the fullcircle too in a way ... ofc you could be like "why did i spend all that money in the first place?!" but its not the same ... understaning synthesis as a fullblown noob is just nicer on a hardware "instrument" i guess ... i still dont like the click-a-clacka asthetics of full dive abelton m'n'k style of producing but having that full control over everything is very nice! Still cant beat the mighty jomox modbase 09 module kickdrums in ableton .... :D
I wish you a pleasant week too :) Your videos are amazing, great content and production but most of all phenomenal advice. Thanks for having nice chill delivery and making some ace videos, please keep them coming!!
The sheer mass of highly relevant music that has been published by you and thus successfully left deep impressions in the long-term memory of the culture and genre of music to which you refer here underpins your ability and expertise to act as a teacher in this subject. NONE!

Really appreciate your content. There are always some tipps and trick I can adapt to my production workflow. I would like to dig into modular systems. Can you give some advice where to start? I mean the stuff looks like a space ship and is just as expensive. So there's no way buying a whole system at once.
this is all i want to hear great :) yes its not easy to start but after good to have, start with an OSC and a delay und than get a lot of modulation and multis!!!! you can make a rack that you thing works for you on (modulargrid) and send me the link in a mail and i tell u if this works.
