Alex Proven by whom? Tina just proved that it doesn't have that significance of an effect...and yes lavender does have an effect on sleep, but that is different than lavender vap
I did not say that these were proven to have an effect on sleep, I said lavender is. And she took one small puff, that's hardly enough to come to any sort of conclusion. She didn't prove anything honestly.
In my opinion, I think this company packages these oils bc they wanted to cater for those people who travel a lot and want the comfort of their essential oils from home on the go instead of packing the huge tub or something of the diffuser with them. I’m traveling right now and I wish I could have a travel sized version of my diffuser! 🙁
Jen Klen young living sells usb diffusers that arent too expensive and their essential oils are great too peppermint being my favorite im starting to save up because i want one of their usb diffusers or oils beause theyre a bit expensive
Kimber Berk u shouldnt rly use it with pregnant because some essential oils can be harmful to baby but i guess since its not going into lungs is fine but Idk xD
Inhale is a bit of an incorrect term for how you use this. You simply suck in a breath, hold it in your mouth, and push it out through your mouth. You don’t let it truly enter your esophagus or lungs. The essential oils will cling to the hairs in your nose, so every time you breathe through your nose after using the monq (not long tho) you’ll be breathing in a very muted version of the oil. This is why you only need 2-3 puffs an hour, because it will cling to you. You don’t need to suck in a large amount of the product. Using an oil steamer/filter that disperses the oil into the air, you’ll be getting an effect as well- I just think the monq is a stronger version of that.
I have vibrant, it's normal to feel light headed with the first few times, with more use it gets better. Oh btw, vibrant taste very minty and has helped with my asthma
This is such an odd way to diffuse and use essential oils. An essential oil necklace is so much better, you can control how much and what oils you're using so then you don't get pre blends with oils that you don't like or your body can't handle.
Alex not really, you don't know the exact concentrations in the thing, so you don't know just how much you're getting. One person's breath is also different from another's. There's no information on ratios or percentages of the oil blends and additives. It's best to be exact with essential oils especially because too much can be harmful or the body can't handle certain ones which causes adverse reactions. Example: I've been tested by a kinesiologist and know that my body can handle 3 drops/day of Oregano but any more and I start to feel sick. Just like medicine, it's best to consult a professional and getting all the info possible before using essential oils because you never know how your body will react. The fact that Tina was starting to feel sick after a single puff means the concentration was too high for her to begin with and/or her body doesn't like some of the oils used.
I have one of every flavor, so I can judge the concentrations and none are very strong. They tell you to not exceed a certain amount of puffs, so that's how you judge how much you should have. There's definitely not 3 drops of anything in 2-3 puffs of any of these diffusers. "The fact that Tina was starting to feel sick after a single puff means the concentration was too high for her to begin with and/or her body doesn't like some of the oils used" 1. She could have been inhaling it. I did that my first few times with the original Sleepy formulation and felt sick. Then I learned how to properly use it and I was fine. 2. Some people have allergies, that's life. Most people don't get pretested for allergies beyond common ones.
Micah Lynn I haven't watched the entire video but has tina gone through all of the warnings and what not, I felt sick at first as well but I muscled through it lol. Hopefully she didn't have any allergies to it :( I spent days reading over the safety and all that on their website.
Honestly, I don't think it matters much for this kind of thing. If it was supposedly treating an actual disease, that would be different. But if you like the scent of Sleepy, for instance, and you get sleepy because you believe it will work, then you've gotten your money's worth.
Well Kava Kava is a potent relaxer used for anxiety, stress, and insomnia so much so that it can interact with certain prescribed medication medications, so that one at least is not a placebo.
placebo is actually really cool if you think about it. You can have effects on your body simply by believing something will happen. Your thoughts have power :)
You can’t get high from this. It’s a Monq, nothing can “kick in” because it’s not a vape, it has no illegal substances or any bad chemicals in it. It’s a placebo effect.
Banana Baneen yeah because there is only water, glycerin and essential oil. no nicotine or drugs. so basically just water and scent. i’m 14 and i want one. but i think it’s rated 18+ just because it looks like vaping. which i guess it kind of is. idk
Vg / Pg is a carrier. Works just like cannabis oil or nic vape pens or mods. Distilled essential oil mixed with a vg and maybe pg mix. It's what we vapers and weed smokers have been doing for 15 years
I really want to try these for my anxiety and depression, the action of “smoking/vaping” seem relaxing but I like my health. The ocean and zen ones seem nice. I can try them now being 18, Yee yee
peachy flowers fr I’m not even 18 and imma get them because I have very bad anxiety and my mental health isn’t the greatest so I’m willing to try this to help me. They just don’t wanna b responsible for a person under the age to b developing a “smoking habit”.

I’m pretty sure you’re not suppose to inhale it into the lungs? Cuz the essential oil and everything aren’t suppose to go all the way down there (it’s bad for your health or something?) the correct way should be to inhale into the mouth and puff out from the nose without sucking it into the lungs

Tina's skin is straight up perfect! It always amazes me. Also, I love how natural Alfred appears in front of the camera as opposed to before. He seems way more relaxed!
Some essential oils aren't meant to go into your body like that. If you really want to try some essential oils that promote being active, try sweet orange and grapefruit essential oils in a regular defuser. Or for sleepy time, lavender and chamomile essential oils. Try some chamomile tea with honey for relaxing, and for crampy, icky feeling days. It's great!!!
I'm researching these now because of mental/physical health and I've never been a smoker ---I think yall are right about it needing another way to administer so maybe if they could do it like an asthma inhaler people wouldn't associate it with smoking/e-cigs . I love essential oils & they have helped me soooooo much so I'm very tempted to try these.
i have dogs and cats and open topped aquariums so i cant have a diffuser i used to but it nearly poisoned my dog and made my cats act really lethargic .. so if it effects them like this id rather wait to see if theres long term issues for humans later on ... i mean things we thought were good 10 years ago turned out to be bad or misinformed years later lol
Just because other animals have a reaction to something doesn't mean it's bad for humans. Aromatherapy and essential oils have been around for over 6000 years, so I think it's safe to say they're perfectly fine. Cats are allergic to a lot of essential oils, that's why yours had a reaction. Here's a list I found from a quick search. Oregano, bay leaf, savory, cedar leaf, parsley, sage, hyssop, lavender, eucalyptus, Cyprus, mint, citronella, clove, caraway, ginger, chamomile, rosemary, pine, thyme, peppermint, lemon, tea tree oil, cinnamon bark oil, and wintergreen. Dogs are allergic to less, but here's a small list I found. Anise, clove, garlic, horseradish, juniper, thyme, wintergreen, and yarrow. Unless you're breathing these personal diffusers into the nose of your pets or you're in a small and unventilated space with them, they'll be fine. I use mine around dogs and cats all the time and it's fine. It's such a small amount, it disappears quickly.
You are not used to anything else apart from the natural and polluted air.. Which is not at all smoke.. Any type of foreign substance in your lungs that you inhale directly flows into the bloodstream and through your nasal path to your brain as well..inhaling essential oils through nose is something different coz nose itself works as a filter thus relieving you from specific problms. But through mouth it also passes through your elementary canal causing you feel dizzy..try not to perform any more stunts like such coz i wish you n alfred stay healthy for a longer period of time..
Hi, I am blind and I also have an out rages Lee sensitive nose! I’ve always had an excellent sense of smell even before I went blind. And sometimes it really really sucks! LOL However, even though hairspray and perfume really bother you because they’re strong scent you should not discount essential oil‘s. I would definitely discount is Vape‘s however because they suck for sure!! I am really into essential oils and aromatherapy. And I will say that perfumes and hairspray’s are compiled of synthetic and man-made chemical compositions. Which means a lot of people are actually very sensitive to them but ignore it so they can get used to it. It’s actually really bad! I will say that you should probably try nebulizing essential oil diffuser with some essential oils from the Brand now. I don’t sell them or anything. I just love them! I tried many many different essential oil brands and most of them are bogus! But now has a lot of bang for the buck and it is therapeutic grade essential oil’s which are the highest grade! They’re the Best! And of course, if you open a bottle of essential oil‘s and stick it right to your nose it’s going to be overpowering and overwhelming! But if you watched a few feet away from you knows you’ll get a good cent. But, I just want to say don’t discount essential oil‘s! They have extremely good properties and you can get a nebulizing diffuser on Amazon and it’s awesome! If you are just worry about clean the air in your house, maybe your not but I would definitely either get beeswax candles which don’t leave smoke in the air at all and clean your air as well as leaving a gentle but slightly sweet Sant I would use that to clean my air or a Himalayan salt lamp. It changes all the negative ions into positive ions and does not have a scent at all! Anyways, I hope my comment healthier!
Oh my goodness, I think I might buy this since I wanted to quit smoking and the sensation of puffing can satisfy my hunger to smoke. This is a good find Tina! Thank you so much for reviewing this! I know which flavor to get now
Rurien Moon don't. Essential oils aren't supposed to be smoked- just smelled from a distance. It's really bad for you- also toxic to pets. Just get a regular non nicotine e cig.
I genuinely enjoy your channel, but man, these things seem bogus. Just save the money and get some essential oils for your pillow, shampoo, car, wherever you are. At least the effects are known.
The effects are literally the same. All it is is water and essential oils. That's it. I prefer these to having diffusers around everywhere. I take one and take 3-4 puffs and that's it.
I have these and they actually make you feel a little high. I’ve spent hundreds on essential oils and they work, but THESE WORK SO GOOD! Depends on the person
Everyone is like hypnotized by it. what they don’t know is that when essential oils get heated to that extend it’s literally a different compound and still destroys your lungs
Daphne Sullivan only when they get heated above like 540 degrees Fahrenheit and these don’t heat up that much. I believe these go to like 200 so they are safe
Coco Bianca you “believe”?? literally research a bit. it genuinely heats up to dangerous level. please educate yourself and others instead of believing everything you see on the internet. this generation is so gullible and quite frankly dumb
I love these! My bestie got these and we tried them. Sleepy was good for me, I had the best sleep that night but the best one was happy. I was happy for days
Though there is no nicotine, the act of inhaling this vaper (come on it's a vaper) will still moisten your lungs. Hmm. A pass if you are into "aroma therapy" anyway.
When you said you felt ill after the active one I wonder if it could be a sensitivity to one of the oils chosen. I have a lot of sensitivities and from what you said, it seemed like the same thing that happens to me.
But like you said, they include the disclaimer. It's not like they're trying to trick anyone. Like Sydney said, it is vaporizing the essential oils, vape is still a correct term for it.
For the third time, what people typically are referring to as vapes, those products contain nicotine. And for the second time, on the Monq site, it says, "so while the term “vaporizer” is technically accurate, it can be slightly misleading." Who said anything about Monq trying to trick anyone?
I really like the Zen one. It helps with my anxiety. If you do have a respiratory problems, do not use it. I do see how it would help the habit of "hand to mouth" for former smokers. It really depends on you.
You probably get lightheaded from holding your breath a bit and breathing weirdly. Essential oils have documented therapeutic effect, but its not something I would recommend to try out if you dont know what you are dealing with. Essential oils are raw oils from plants, highly allergenic and many people have bad reactions to it. Just as you shouldnt rub raw plants on your skin, like lavender.. A bit aroma therapy is nice, smells affects us differently, but you should not overdo it like this.
this is like a meditating thing ish calming thing so like a serene happy feeling u should calm down not keep on talking and stuff like that ( even tho u won't be able to make much interesting content without speaking) and you'll feel and sense of bliss :-) it's not like medicine where it's like this kicking in thing if ur buzzing ( disclaimer: not hate i swear ive been subscribed for a while // ily tina! u guys r such a great couple 🌱💓)
Did you do research on the products before you bought them? Did you study the quality and how natural the oils come from? Are the oils from an all natural farms? Do they use chemicals to produce the ingredients for the essential oils for this product?
QueenXKnit That’s great and all but you could have the best quality of essential oil in existence and that still doesn’t make that good for your lungs. Essential oils are volatile and I’d be worried about what they could do to your lungs :/
Molly King which could irritate your mucous membranes. But whatever people can do what they want. It’s irresponsible to promote these untested items to others who might not do research on these things though. :/ The thyme, pepper and citrus oils are the most questionable as they have been proven to cause irritation especially after continued use.
Ooh what a scary reaction, probably made your BP too high. I'm not a fan of ingesting essential oils. I know this isn't exactly ingesting but I can't imagine this would be that good for the soft tissues of your lungs either. I think a necklace or a cotton ball with a drop of oil does the trick.
dara627able It shouldn't go anywhere near your lungs! You're supposed to only keep it in your mouth for a few seconds then breathe it out through your nose! If you're inhaling it like a normal cigarette (which actually goes into your lungs) then you're doing it wrong.
Skylar Andrews I can see lot of user error potential. And your mucous membranes can become damaged. Good luck on your eo vapes. Still not thinking this is something that people should be doing. I've worked with EOS for 12 years, and believe this is harmful.
I love this series!! I notice you talk a lot about your lips being dry, and I have the same problem, I highly recommend using Aquaphor on them, it hydrates super nicely and is GREAT to use after exfoliating your lips. I carry a tube everywhere I go!
I've tried another brand, Corked, that does the same thing. They have one that you can customize, which I did, and it really helps me with my anxiety. I chose lavender vanilla basil and Eucalyptus.
Hookah is bad for you no matter how you look at it. You are inhaling smoke into your lungs. You're either smoking tobacco or weed (or hashish). Peppermint hookah still has tobacco.
Everyone thinks it’s placebo, but I have these and they actually give you a little high feeling, and it’s pretty cool. Helps so much with anxiety and ADHD. I don’t think all of them work, but most of them do. Depends on the person
Alyssa J which ones do you use?

It's_me Jay online mainly but some vape/smoke shops sell them

Yeah, it's called a placebo effect. But essential oils have been proven to have certain effects. Lavender for example has been proven to aid in sleep.

Cathayy Ma not at all actually.... an actual vape would help though
Monq would definitely be better than an "actual vape" that contains nicotine. I know some people who have cut down on their smoking by using Monq.

You guys do realize it’s not a cig or a ecig.. and those are not bad for you shit there are more chemicals in your coffee 🤦🏻♀️
Love how you guys are trying different products together!!!
id give these a go in 10 years or so after i know for sure it wont cause something long term
It's no different from having a diffuser sitting on your desk.
i have dogs and cats and open topped aquariums so i cant have a diffuser i used to but it nearly poisoned my dog and made my cats act really lethargic .. so if it effects them like this id rather wait to see if theres long term issues for humans later on ... i mean things we thought were good 10 years ago turned out to be bad or misinformed years later lol
Monq is not meant to be inhaled, they are not supposed to be in your lungs.
Alex it’s a vape what do you mean it’s not supposed to be inhaled? Do I just look at it? Lol
without even going into the video yet i am amazed by your earrings! they're so pretty!!!
If I ever gave this a try it would be the sleeping one but I would rather go for a oil dispenser machine first.
I have them and absolutely love them! They really help with anxitey!
Plot twist, the sleep one was pot. 😂😭
💀💀
What a couple of troopers! Aromatherapy is definitely a personal thing. Myself some of the flavors give me a headache! Way to try this!
Calling them vapes might get you in trouble in Singapore :)
lmaoaoaoao
I enjoy watching the both of you. I'm feeling the chemistry between the two of you. I was smiling the whole time while watching.
I would just buy a difusser. These do not interest me.
"Omg it smells like a Tic Tac!" that was freaking adorable.
You don't inhale these into your lungs. This isn't a "stunt." If used properly (not inhaling the vapor), it is perfectly healthy and safe.
kazi firdaus okay mom
claudiá vanessa yes..daughter...😆😆😆😁
Alex somebody is buzzing here for no reason😂😂😂😂 shit... Seems you dnt understand english
Alimentary, if that's what you meant.
I think these are mostly a novelty they're cute, cool and a fun item. I think your belief in it is what gives you the effects of it.
Guess I can’t use those cuz I can’t even use hairspray or perfume because my sense of smell is so strong I can’t stand it. :P
Hi, I am blind and I also have an out rages Lee sensitive nose! I’ve always had an excellent sense of smell even before I went blind. And sometimes it really really sucks! LOL
However, even though hairspray and perfume really bother you because they’re strong scent you should not discount essential oil‘s.
I love how Alfreds first shirt says Alfred..so cute! Love seeing both of you in a video 💖
If there isn’t any nicotine and tobacco in them, does that mean under 18s can buy these? ❤️
the site says they won't sell to under 18 in fear of promoting smoking culture
Oh my goodness, I think I might buy this since I wanted to quit smoking and the sensation of puffing can satisfy my hunger to smoke. This is a good find Tina! Thank you so much for reviewing this! I know which flavor to get now
Rurien Moon don't. Essential oils aren't supposed to be smoked- just smelled from a distance. It's really bad for you- also toxic to pets. Just get a regular non nicotine e cig.
Who else saw this on ihascupquake's channel and was so happy when Tina tried it???😄😄😄
Lavender is used a lot for sleep and calm so I'm not surprised. Lush's Sleepy is really popular after all.
The Mom Experience I mean you aren’t supposed to breath through the lungs only into your mouth so it’s only in your nose and mouth
I love the fact that tinas wearing darker colours these days. They really suit her !!!
naahhh.... i dont believe this . lol...
i actually tried it and it’s good
Everyone is like hypnotized by it. what they don’t know is that when essential oils get heated to that extend it’s literally a different compound and still destroys your lungs
@@rk-mv3mw you’re not suppose to inhale it???
I love these! My bestie got these and we tried them. Sleepy was good for me, I had the best sleep that night but the best one was happy. I was happy for days
Though there is no nicotine, the act of inhaling this vaper (come on it's a vaper) will still moisten your lungs. Hmm. A pass if you are into "aroma therapy" anyway.
You’re not supposed to inhale into your lungs, just to keep it in your mouth
When you said you felt ill after the active one I wonder if it could be a sensitivity to one of the oils chosen. I have a lot of sensitivities and from what you said, it seemed like the same thing that happens to me.
Calling them vapes could be a little misleading because vapes typically contain nicotine.
Alex that's an electronic cigarette, cape is short for vaporiser
Like I said, what is commonly called a vape typically contains nicotine. They even include this disclaimer on the Monq site.
But like you said, they include the disclaimer. It's not like they're trying to trick anyone. Like Sydney said, it is vaporizing the essential oils, vape is still a correct term for it.
For the third time, what people typically are referring to as vapes, those products contain nicotine. And for the second time, on the Monq site, it says, "so while the term “vaporizer” is technically accurate, it can be slightly misleading."
Who said anything about Monq trying to trick anyone?
Also, Sydney, what I said in my original comment can apply to both e cigarettes OR vaporizers. Both can contain nicotine.
YES! FINALLY!! I'VE ALWAYS BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
Hey Tina I think you might have had a mild allergic reaction to the active monqu
I really like the Zen one. It helps with my anxiety. If you do have a respiratory problems, do not use it. I do see how it would help the habit of "hand to mouth" for former smokers. It really depends on you.
umm, am i wrong or vapes contain vegetal glycerine as well? i mean, thats basically a vape with "essential oils"
yeah sure, thats exactly what we thought :))))
LOL you guys are talking about it like its a drug. This video was absolutely hilarious!
"Feel like this is-" "OH MY GOD IT SMELLS LIKE A TIC-TAC" 😂😂 love you Tina!
Why not use a diffuser instead of the vape style?
Love seeing Alfred!! They are such a cute couple 😍
I really want to see you share a joint now 😂
Awwww that would be funny
this is like a meditating thing ish calming thing so like a serene happy feeling u should calm down not keep on talking and stuff like that ( even tho u won't be able to make much interesting content without speaking) and you'll feel and sense of bliss :-) it's not like medicine where it's like this kicking in thing if ur buzzing ( disclaimer: not hate i swear ive been subscribed for a while // ily tina! u guys r such a great couple 🌱💓)
Did you do research on the products before you bought them? Did you study the quality and how natural the oils come from? Are the oils from an all natural farms? Do they use chemicals to produce the ingredients for the essential oils for this product?
100% naturally extracted and organic essential oils, harvested from eco-friendly farms across the world
QueenXKnit That’s great and all but you could have the best quality of essential oil in existence and that still doesn’t make that good for your lungs. Essential oils are volatile and I’d be worried about what they could do to your lungs :/
sseehagen79 not supposed to inhale it to your lungs. Just inhale in to mouth and exhale thru your nose.
Molly King which could irritate your mucous membranes. But whatever people can do what they want. It’s irresponsible to promote these untested items to others who might not do research on these things though. :/ The thyme, pepper and citrus oils are the most questionable as they have been proven to cause irritation especially after continued use.
You do know that essential oils are chemicals righ
Very cool! Id definitely keep the sleepy one in my nightstand when im having trouble winding down. Not sure about the others...
Vapes are really new to the market to actually know the negative effects in the long term. I rather be safe and not put my lungs at risk.
Ben_jamin these have no nicotine or tobacco so they aren’t harmful at all
Aileen Zhang better b safe than sorry tbh
If you are used to smoking cigarettes and then start vaping, it actually helps to clear the tar out of your lungs
These aren't meant to be inhaled into the lungs, so your lungs wouldn't be affectef at all:)
Essential oils have been around for over 6000 years. I think the long term effects have been duly noted at this point.
this is right up my alley... i can't wait to try them
I think this is very effective option for medicine if you have deppression or over activity
Oona Katila It's not going to do much for depression.
depression? Pls xd
I didn't mean, ofcourse not, cure it but it could be helpfull for somepeople
Definitely going to try these. You two are the sweetest, and I love how respectful you are of each other. Relationship goals!! X
I've worked with EOS for 12 years, and believe this is harmful.
love how you managed to pin point the scent to a tic tac 😂😂
I've never been so early ahahaha. Hi Tina!
I love this series!! I notice you talk a lot about your lips being dry, and I have the same problem, I highly recommend using Aquaphor on them, it hydrates super nicely and is GREAT to use after exfoliating your lips. I carry a tube everywhere I go!
...they just got stoned on camera... 😂
they don’t get u stoned at all
I literally just received the Zen one last week! It's so great you've just come out with a video on it!
I'd like to have one
YouGot NoJam HEY ARMYYY!!!!😀😀😘✌
hell yeah doesn't mean he or she should stop commenting, it's better than all the 'hate' at least
hell yeah bruh I feel u, I'm an army and I find it annoying seeing people commenting 'ARMY' on every video on youtube.
I've tried another brand, Corked, that does the same thing. They have one that you can customize, which I did, and it really helps me with my anxiety. I chose lavender vanilla basil and Eucalyptus.
those things seem pointless.....
They are but i want one lmao
I like it when you make video’s with Alfred!💜
Love your videos
Alfred!! I love seeing you in Tina's videos. You are Tina are the best couple ever!!
Its like a hookah
But not at all harmful like hookah is. Hookah is absolutely terrible for you and in most cases, worse than cigarettes.
There r various other types of hookah like peppermint, black pepper etc which are not dangerous for health
Hookah is bad for you no matter how you look at it. You are inhaling smoke into your lungs. You're either smoking tobacco or weed (or hashish). Peppermint hookah still has tobacco.
Great review. I think I'm gonna try it to stop smoking nicotine.
