I’m assuming they put the driver and the conductor up for the night In Maryborough for you to do the return journey next morning? Or is this done all on the same day to give you a break and rest?
3:05 The approximate time I started yelling STOP! IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS GOOD, STOP! And then you did. 😌 Did you have to do anything in the siding, or just clear the line for a few minutes?🤔
Excellent video
Thank you. Glad to hear you enjoyed the ride 👍 😀
My favourite station after Serviceton, great way for people to see dual gauge
It's a very majestic building. 👍😀
The Maryborough Station building is like the one in Albury
Not quite but they are both majestic buildings 👍😀
@@driver667Yeah because I know that the Station building has the clock tower
@@vlinenclasstrains 👍😀

The crew is transferred to and from Ballarat by car when required. 👍😀
Are they standard gauge lines in the yard or broad gauge?
Based on what I see at the points (or switch track if you're American), I'd say its broad gauge.🤔
Definitely broad gauge passenger service up to Maryborough from Ballarat.
The two or three tracks opposite the platform are standard gauge based on the points at 4:45
The tracks opposite the station in the freight yard are standard gauge. The only broad gauge siding is the vlocity stabling yard.
👍
Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😀
Dont forget the de-dock driver
😀😀👍

Just cleared the main line for an hour or two. 👍😀
