Practical necessity, gear change foot-lever must have an additional provision to change gear with heel of shoe,means only bottom of shoe used to change the gears.

Features I will go later with, But the look of the bike I feel is really awesome now, Fully black. That is attracting me more. Just one thing in my opinion could be better i.e. the silver wide stripe on the Tank. Rather It could be kept black itself.

Definately.... there is not much difference in this new model. I hope Jawa has ruled out its problem of low ground clearance, sudden stopage of engine and gear jamming issue in new model.

In day to day city traffic 🚥, Jawa 42's handle bar is already quite wide, bar end mirrors makes handling quite difficult, more prone to get broke
He has changed the handlebar mirror from left to right and vise versa ... If its on correct position it can be twisted inward to prevent damage
I had bought it and loved it very much but one important feature is missing in my jawa that's side stand open notification.. It is not in my jawa

Is Jawa 42 2.1 more beneficial (in terms of power producer) than RE or CB at high altitude touring considering that it is a short stroke engine?

Hello Everyone, I had few questions, it would be really appreciated if someone can resolve my questions.
my height is 5.9 does this bike is comfortable for long rides ? and what about the cornering issue does it really problematic?
Regarding the ground clearance issue
If I change the tyres to 19inches does the ground clearance issue will solve else what will be the alternative solution for the ground clearance
Regarding pillion seat comfort?
I can see the seat size is very small when compared to RE and Benelli imperial 400, does it comfortable for long rides?
What was the avarage milage in city and highway?
Last question.
Can jawa delivers the bike immediately or should we wait for time period?
I'm planning to buy a bike
My prioritys are
1- RE Meteor - where the waiting period is too long,I don't think it's worth waiting for it.
2 - Jawa - Impressed with the vehicle presence on road, need to get clarity on my questions
3- Dominor 400- milage of dm 400 is not upto my mark, I was expecting around 35 km in city. and the pillion seat heat is not upto the my requirement, I can't sit my mother on pillion seat so I can't go for it
Please suggest me the best solution or alternative option for this.

There's isn't anything showing something like side stand on and the bike too is not stopping when the side stand is on..I have purchased the 42 2.1 recently haven't got this feature in my bike.

I like your review.
I am planning to buy a bike and for that, I have been experimenting with 2 bikes for the last couple of days., (1) Jawa 42 2.1 and (2) Meteor 350 which are almost at the same price. My height is 5.4 feet and I am comfortable riding with these 2 bikes due to the low seat height. I really like the Jawa bike for its unique design and compactness but I'm still not 100% sure which one I want to purchase.
The following points I can't ignore, but not sure about it:
1. Brand Value or Brand Image with this cost.
2. We never know the future of Jawa, we know about their history of discontinuation.
3. Very limited-service centers.
4. High price and almost the same price with RE Meteor 350
5. I don't know how long we will have to wait for accessories if there is any damage
6. Battery problem, I've noticed from some reviews. As this bike has no kick start option, we need to think about any battery issues.
7. I am not sure how long we can maintain this "matte color" in our weather conditions.
All of these factors it's lead me to buy a renewable brand like the RE Meter 350, but I still really like Jawa 42 and my test ride was much more comfortable than Meteor. Jawa bike is almost 20kgs less weight and 6 inches less length than Meteor.
I don't understand if it will be the right decision to buy a Jawa bike at such a high price where we are not sure about its brand value or resell value.
I'm completely confused now, what should I buy? I will wait for further review before investing a good amount of money. But I must say, that the design Jawa has created, is awesome. Should I go with the design or performance or brand image? Please help.

Me too suggest yo go for RE. I have recently shifted to jawa from RE. But the experience is not worth to tell. I am facing problem of gear shifting, sudden stopage of engine and low ground clearance in Jawa bike.
