I understand this but why is it when I try to graph my parabolas always go upward ? Y= -3(x+7)^2 -8 I put x=0 Y= -3(0+7)^2 -8 Y= -3 + 49 -8 Y = 38. the answer is positive Y, even though this Parabola is supposed to go downwards. Why is that ? 😭😭😭 I had test today and I answers based on written form, it Turner out to be correct (😭) How?
because the part in parenthesis always switches from positive or too negative like the 7 is in the parenthesis so it turns into -7 but if -7 was in the parenthesis it would be considered just 7
who’s here because your teacher talks way to fast

you are supposed to multiple the -3 with the 49 i think
