I live in Florida we're at times the mesquitos are so bad you have to floor the throttle on your bike just so you can see . As effective as the bug zappers are I think the government needs to use industrial versions in certain areas like the parks when the other types of mesquito control has failed to do it's job especially after the out break of triple E in Pasco Florida

Use a leaf blower - exhaust end of vacuum - air hose to get rid of the bugs, wouldn't want that great zapper to break after one too many blows. 😉

I don't think you need a bug zapper you need a exorcist 😮

Dang and I thought I had a problem, you have alot of bugs ? need some bats and dragon flies too ! Maybe you need another stinger ? That's insane for only one night, that stinger work amazing, mine seems kinda dim maybe I need new bulbs ?

I have one of those models. I was wondering if you ever had to change the bulb in it. Mine after 30 seconds is alternating brightness on the left, and the right side of the bulb. Don't know if i need a new bulb or a new unit. Hate to buy a new bulb if that's not the problem.

I have had to change a bulb before. I always like to have a spare on hand anyway, just in case it falls (or gets dropped) and breaks a bulb.

Thanks for getting back. I guess i could have worded my question better. Has your bulb ever alternated brightness from the left, to the right side of the bulb and you found that changing the bulb fixed it? In other words, do you know if my symptoms are of a bad bulb or could it be something on the circuit board.

A fluctuating bulb could be the bulb, or the circuit board. The first thing that I would suspect would be dirty bulb pins. Take the bulb out and rub the pins down with a pencil eraser. If that doesn't change things, then the bulb would be the next thing to try.

This was a great wonderful video! However, I would not strike it to remove the bugs. My bug zappers are too precious to me to do that, so I would use a high powered air compressor with a hose to remove the dead bugs. Is that bug zapper the BK510 unit with the set of green LED lights?

No green lights. The air compressor works great, but a little cumbersome for me to use every morning.

I would get 20 of these and set them around the property.
