I’ve never used a 4 way but it makes sense it would split 4 times harder . Them big rounds can be a challenge. We’ve found subscribers come and go especially if you do a lot of shorts .
Warm here today. As I write this it is 30C with a 38C humidex, which is 100F. Nice and warm. I have not lost any subscribers today, yet. 🤭🤭 Hard piece to split. Will make great burning with all the tight grain in it. Stay cool and have a great day. 👍🏻
when you watch people wrestle wood to and on the splitter is there not a better design where you roll the cylinder and the splitter to the wood and slide it under like a feed bag cart and squeeze the trigger and move to your next victim this looks really exhausting and has to be hard on fingers and toes 50 ft of hydraulic hose and you could work all-day
Wow, I felt the pressure on your Wolfridge splitter all the way up in Maine. That was a tough one. You need the Easton Made splitter to go on your tractor to bust the big rounds into more manageable pieces. They seem to work quite well from what I’ve seen. Be safe, Dave D. from Maine.

Thanks for watching. Have a great weekend
Those big rounds with knots are some the hardest to split, but do produce Great wood!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Nice trick using the chain 👍 Sure beats using a sledgehammer to back a round off the wedge. Keep hydrated

The helpful hint would have been to take the 4 way off in the first place.
Wow that was a tough round!!!

I’ve been stuck on a number for awhile. Goes up 5 in a day or 2. Then next day they are gone
