    I am aware that metformine is being researched as a component in treatment for cancer patients. Is myo-inositol also being studied for its potential benefits/treatment for cancer patients.

    YES!!! Sound isn't mono anymore! I listen at work through headphones and hearing only out of one ear takes so patience. Glad this isn't the case for this video!

    Hey Mike! Love your videos. Was just wondering what the best possible way to guarantee to get a question answered by yourself would be. It's a bit of a complicated one, but basically I want to get your thoughts on keto diets and vegan diets, and how both have been shown to reverse many of our leading diseases, the main ones being atherosclerosis and diabetes.
    I think I know for the most part why both work, as complex carbohydrates from vegetables are very different from refined carbs from grains. But what has me confused is how a plant based diet has been proven to stop, or even reverse the top 15 killers in our western society. Coupled with the fact that a rise in animal product consumption AS well as refined carbohydrates contribute to our current health epidemic, since there is strong evidence for both cases.
    Keto diets work tremendously, but so do plant based diets. But one contains animal products, and the other does not - and even condemns dietary cholesterol and saturated fat!
    Is there truth in both of these nutrition/lifestyle interventions.
    If you can't answer this question here, is it possible to tackle it in a livestream? Honestly all this contradictory evidence has been a little maddening lately! I'd pay to have this talked about by yourself haha!
    Also, the books I have read that exposed me to all this evidence for both sides are: The Obesity Code by Jason Fung, How Not to Die by Michael Greger, and of course Pure White and Deadly by John Yudkin. I don't know if this helps, but it might give you an idea of where my head is at, at the moment!
    Thanks again,
    Samuel

    You said there was no difference between the insotol and Metformin.. but is their evidence that insotol has the amazing microbiome effects that you were talking about?

    I am currently taking berberine Berberine, but I am thinking about also adding inositol to aid with insomnia and weight loss. Is it OK to take both supplements? I only take 500 mg of berberine per day.

    Hi, any thoughts on the "cool fat burner" / "cool gut buster" from Eric Grove? This is all about BAT activation
    I've got one, but I've stopped using it, it takes too much time, say 2 to 3 hours a day
    It's not painful, it is surprisingly bearable
    I've never tried cold shower or cold bath and I most likely never will...

    • @mojo5093
      @mojo5093 7 лет назад +2

      lol re: never have a cold shower - i thought the same until i began the wim hof method... the breathing part (controlled hyperventilation) makes the skin tingle - it acts like a protective film covering the skin and i can have a cold shower
      i couldn't believe it - do the research, then try it - it's easy to do

    Hey Mike, so as I watched some videos of you I'm starting to understand that you recommend ketogenic diet/lifestyle for all time. You suggest it more to balance your body and achieve homeostasis, yeah ? What duration do you usually recomend for keto diet? And afterwards you can eat healthy, natural , organic vegetables and fruits? Or do you tend to avoid fruits and just stick to veggies?

    I picked up berberine root. Is the HCL version just so that it is enzyme ready? I can probably do the same thing by pre dosing with ACV and proteatic enzymes right? I need to start using some sort of insulin tester.

    Id like to see more studies on protein before I change my protein intake based on this interview. I'm not sure why Dr. Lyon was chosen for this subject. Is she a researcher? It doesn't strike me that she is. And there's no research sited in the interview unless I've missed it, just references to "in one study". I think we should all be cautious in forming a new protein strategy based on this interview alone.

      Samual Whittemore alright but it was a little too much in this video, especially since he said sth like "know this is ad but", it was so much as to made me think if he needed to desperately pay bills from the money he earns from this content, y'know?

    • @KarlDag
      @KarlDag 7 лет назад +4

      Thingys Happening So he needs to pay the bills... Don't you? I love his content, I'm perfectly fine with him trying to monetize... Needs to pay the plane tickets, camera equipment, etc.

    • @thingyshappening2962
      @thingyshappening2962 7 лет назад

      Karl Dagenais yeah sure. You know what would have suited me better (obviously you guys aren't distracted at all him monetizing every second sentence...) I would be perfectly fine if he diveded like in two, first all the money making part and only if you get through the ad part you are allowed to listen to his content. With the amount of ad he is talking, that would be my go to. If he was doing less of it I'm fine with the current format. But you know I'm not the kind of person listening to news with equal length of "as seen on tv" ads while doing chores, I really wanted to get content and some advertising is ok, but he obviously doubled the length of the video easily but his ads, so I lost interest after half listening, sorry.
