    Thanks for posting. Yes, they are glorious bells. I lived next to SMR many years ago and they are still my favorite ring.

    Bells 8, 9, 10, 11 and Tenor now have timber clappers in them. The 8th bell has also been replaced since this video was taken. Before this was taken the 11th clapper was repaired, at the same time it was modified to try to get it to go up easier. It worked, however Avon Ropes have supplied a new timber shafted clapper which means it goes up right and rings effortlessly.
