How painful is it to change the date if you are 15 days ahead or behind?
What about the eraly birds that bought the first line of production under the "Navitimer" name on the dial and with no markings on the bezel?. aren't they kind of screwed?
Not ALL of the time zones of the world. There is much more to time zones then these 24. E.g. the whole of India is missing (1/6 of world population!) because they use a half hour time zone. The VC world timer is the only one I know of, that actually displays 37 time zones (still not all, but much closer). But the Breitling does a lot things right and is one of the best designed world timers on the market. Most important: It has the DST markers! Otherwise your world timer is borderline useless half of the year.
There are more than 24 time zones on the planet...
Strap fitted upside down?
I don't think so, IWC does the same thing
