There's such a feeling of old world adventure in the journal. I really like the peek-a-boo pocket you made with the tag and butterfly label. It looks great against your turquoise painted paper. I also really like the tag you mentioned - the train tag that says journey. It's striking. Fabulous journal.
Kathleen, this journal is just wonderful. I was surprised at the amount of journaling space it has but still has all the pockets, flips and tucks that your journals always have. Plus, it has those wonderful painted pages (love those!), the interactive parts, and of course, the original vintage/antique ephemera. And for someone who didn't understand steampunk before, now I have a good idea, and I love your version of it. I'm sure the new owner is going to be overjoyed when it arrives at her house. Thank you so much for this series of styles. It is so helpful and just fun to watch.
Thank you, Kathleen. Completed with such style! You have brought history to life again! I love the colours you have used throughout! Awesome creating! Love and big hugs! 😀💞
@@kerynokeeffe9133 Thank you so much Keryn! I appreciate that! Has it been a hard winter this year. Our half of the globe has been soooo hot and it makes me wonder if it is just as extreme for you?
Hi, Kathleen. We’ve had many cool to warm days instead of really cold blustery windy days, so far. There’s been odd spells of colder days and nights, but not consistently. We’re not even had our wood fire burning the last couple of weeks. Other parts of southern Australia have had cold weather, snowy in the higher elevations. In our area, the nights can be cold and the mornings very frosty. Usually though, we still have sunshine most days. Occasionally, like today, it’s overcast. I feel sorry for you suffering extreme heat as I’m not a lover of really hot weather, especially if it’s high humidity! Temperate is more to my liking. 😀💞
@@kerynokeeffe9133 Oh good Keryn! I’m glad things are more normal for some parts of the globe, haha. It’s such a blessing to have sunshine isn’t it? I’m glad we live in a place with sunshine most days, but it’s cost to have a little rain once in a while.
Kathleen this turned out so great❣ I just love all your attention to detail and how you tell us why you are doing something and what you hope to achieve in doing so. In my opinion you always hit the mark. I have learned so much from you. Hugs and stay well.
I thinks it’s great that you did t use a kit for this journal! You’ve definitely inspired me. I think I have a little Steampunk journal in my future! Thank-you. 😃❤️
Oh MY Goodness!! This is SOOO good! I love the colours and textures you've added! I would never gravitate to a steampunk theme but the colours are so much my thing! I may have to give steampunk a chance! Thanks for sharing Kathleen!!
@@Mommyoffive4Him I hope you will give it a try Kerri! Just go light on the steampunk and maybe focus on the industrial/Victorian science kind of thing, right? I’m glad to share my passion. Thanks so much for watching!
