    Great video, I did 9 hours of this from Bristol temple meads to Aberdeen a few years ago and now I’d love to do the whole lot. Just find it fascinating for some reason!

    45 stations. There are also 45 stations between London Kings Cross to Edinburgh:
    Finsbury Park, Harringay, Alexandra Palace, New Southgate, Oakleigh Park, New Barnet, Hadley Wood, Potters Bar, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Welwyn North, Knebworth, Stevenage, Hitchin, Arlesford, Biggleswade, Sandy, St Neots, Huntingdon, Peterborough, Grantham, Newark, Retford, Doncaster, York, Thirsk, Northallerton, Darlington, Durham, Chester le Street, Newcastle, Manors, Cramlington, Morpeth, Pegswood, Widdrington, Acklington, Alnmouth, Chathill, Berwick upon Tweed, Dunbar, Drem, Longniddry, Prestonpans, Wallyford and Musselburgh.

    Pity they don't make this a sleeper service ... but I guess there wouldn't be enough passengers to warrant this ever hapening.
    I remember as a kid taking a sleeper train on thre ECML, from Newcastle to Kings Cross.. a service long gone

    I did this in standard as I thought first class would be cheating 😂 it was also over £120 more then standard. I still really enjoyed it though!

      Thanks very much. There were five changes of crew throughout the journey and each one spotted our journey details in the manifest and came up to say hello.
