He’s a great guy and I love him. Kinda wish he had more of an attitude to be the best though. I worry a little that he’ll just be so genuinely grateful and fulfilled being here in the NFL that he won’t have the drive to dominate at the top and be the best in the business. I’m certain of one thing though and it’s that he is bare minimum a great dude and wants to prove his worth, even if he doesn’t have the killer HOF instinct to be the elite.

Im hyped for this guy but something thats disturbing to me is the fact that in all his college tape, you never see him using his head to tackle. He doesnt drive through people! All his tackles are arm tackles and him turning his shoulder and just trying to knock you over. I believe hes trying to compensate for his neck injury. Maybe its a non factor or maybe its why he struggles sometimes to finish sacks or tackles. I love his attitude and energy so im rooting for the young man

Best defensive end ever to wear a Colt uniform wore #89 (number is retired)...In fact am looking at an autographed picture of the man as i type this...Being from the Bay Area you dont find to many of us Colt fans here....But i grew up right across the street from this guy and his family (parents & brother) so this is why ive been a Colts fan all these yrs since the Baltimore days....How many of you know who this guy is....Hint : he's a Hall of Famer.....
I had to look it up as I've only been watching the Colts since their 1st year in Indy. I'm actually from Indy but now in the Bay Area. Pretty cool to see Gino Marchetti is from Antioch. Plus the backstory of him being a machine gunner in WW2 and surviving that is pretty "crazy" as Latu would probably say.
Aside from the random Colts fan that is by way of default through Andrew Luck, yeah, not many of us Colts fans here in the Bay. Out here in the East Bay, I'm pretty much the only guy reppin' any Colts jersey lol. The other cool thing is my daughter is currently attending UCLA so now we'll both have Latu jerseys. I hope He and Adonai really help take the Colts to the next level this year...

Yep, grew up in Antioch CA , still live next door in Oakley....And being from Antioch , am also from the east bay, gateway to the Delta...Antioch isnt a place you want to go anymore though if you dont got any business there...Sad thing to see....Gino had a brother named Itsy who in high school and college was just as good as Gino was actually...He never made it, became and Antioch Fireman...When the Colts came to S.F. to play the Niners, Antioch would be a ghost town as everyone was at the old Kesar Stadium in Golden Gate Park to see Gino because Candlestick hadnt been built yet...Go Colts !!! P.S. Got a sister and nieces in the La Porte, New Carlisle area just west of South Bend...
@@akgobears I moved out here in 1999. I used to consult all the manufacturing and food/bev processing plants in Norcal. Been through Antioch many times on days I was heading out to the plants in Lodi + Stockton. Yeah, a ton has changed in just the 25 years I've been here. I agree, it's sad to see. I still have tons of family out in Indy and Greenwood. Hope to see our Colts in a playoff game this season!
I love the pick i feel he and ad Mitchel will produce for us right way...I still feel we needed a corner Q.mitchell but at the same time we definitely needed that game wrecker getting after the qb disruption not much time to throw ball helps the rest of the d out especially the corners ... I do believe juju is going to be better then last year and play alot more stay healthy we got Kenny Moore and his back up and I think micah Abrams they drafter is gonna be a faster development he should make a huge jump jaylon Jones as well is a good corner just needs his snap counts in so he can learn more ... and I also feel like we most definitely need to grab a couple vets in free agency im hoping for any of these people Diggs safety or Simmons at safety.. and I believe Gilmore is a stud steal of a free agent 1 or 2 year deal like last time

New rookies coming in to compete so JuJu and Jones will have to push themselves to get better, and Flowers is back. All we need is a vet FS. Gilmore has lost a step but he could possibly slide into that FS position...

Last year's top pass rusher, top 3 draft selection, defensive rookie of the year, had 7 sacks his rookie season. People need to be measured with their expectations.
Yet Latu is the best DE, with production stats to back it, that has come into the NFL in the last 10 years easy. NOTHING in life is guaranteed but you're an idiot for already trying to discount this guy's will, determination to succeed, past production, and what he's put on tape...
...and how would you expect most fans to know him when all the AXE-perts and 999 out of every 1000 mock drafts for the last several months were banging the drum saying Colts would take Bowers or a corner back?
