There are loads of good male skaters but non have got the WOW factor as Yuzu has. There's something magical about him, i can't really put it into words. As soon as he hits the ice he just completely takes over. Wonderful!

the unreal thing about him i saw him in warm up he was not able to do that 4s first one quad because of his injury he was still unsure but he did so cleanly it was crazy
He skated this programme very tentatively - it wasn't free-flowing. The nerves of the Olympics and the pressure of expectations! Poor young man, he can't go anywhere without cameras and microphones stuck in his face!
.... he would have been disappointed in this skate. I was, he has skated far, far better and this Olympics he wanted to prove to the world he could skate better than last Olympics - he failed in this. Maybe NEXT Olympics.
I don't think so. Yuzu stated himself, he's pretty much happy with this performance. He's doing the best he can with his conditions that time with full painkiller and not healed ankle. This performance maybe not the perfect one but it's really meaningful and passionate,
As the comment before mentioned he did phenomenal given his condition and the performance gets better the more you watch it. His Chopin SP was absolutely perfection though, all in all he crushed it at the olympics. So he did not fail lol
Injured ankle. Painkillers. No rest given between SP and FS by ISU. Ice not properly set after speed skating. Yuzuru rose above it all to triumph. Happiness and health to you, Yuzuru. Always.

The whole sp and fs and he just did two mistakes but he didn't fall or he didn't put his hands on the ice. He is the GOAT. No comment.
