Of course, We'd be happy to help with your zipper issue. Could you please provide more details about the difficulty you're experiencing? Are you having trouble with the zipper installation, is the zipper chain physically hard to spread apart, or is it sewn into something, making it difficult to manipulate? The more details you can provide, the better we can assist you.
Great question! We actually have a blog and video that goes more in depth on how to install a metal zippers. Check it out here: www.sailrite.com/install-ykk-metal-zipper-sliders
We show an example of this in out full video! It is the related video in this short or you can use this link: ruclips.net/video/B-hDjV-z_rU/видео.html&ab_channel=SailriteWorkbench (you may have to copy and paste the link)
I'm sorry to hear that the solution didn't work for you. Can you provide more details about the exact problem you're facing? We'll do our best to help you out!
there's literally captions at the top of the screen and CC is already enabled, use your eyes, I'm watching this without even having audio on and it's fine
I see a nautical symbol on your shirt so I will assume you are discussing zipper pulls for marine canvas tops. No zippers are like what you show. None. Not one. Not ever. At the end is a box, or double long tooth. Why not show how to install a zipper on one of these zippers that exist in the real world?
Hi Doug, in this video, we used a continuous zipper chain. Continuous zipper chains are usually purchased in large lengths and trimmed down to fit the size of a project. In this case, the zipper stops would be installed after the slider. You are referencing a finished zipper chain. A finished zipper is a prefabricated zipper (with a slider, stops, and possibly a starter pin and box). These include bridge top, bag type, and jacket/separating zippers. We have videos on our channel showing how to install and replace zippers on a jacket and a backpack. You might find those videos helpful.
What if it’s a double zipper and the top zip comes off?

That racket in the background is SOOOO annoying. At least enable CC so people with sound sensitivity can know what your saying.
