I like how that power splitter uses existing cabinet holes. Pinball Life has a mod power board that intercepts the 'raw' 48VDC directly from the power supply. That way your mods aren't pulling any current from the CPU or Node boards. It is also input/output fuses and has some power conditioning. The Stumblor mod looks amazing! The lolly posts for the slings (and pops) look pretty cool. He has a Foo Fighters kit in the works. Will keep an eye on that...
Just love seeing a newbie to the world of pinball get so excited. I'd say a couple more ice cream seasons and your going to be a pro at mods, Davey's the best. Just shy away from doing restorations and such or Mrs. Kong may kick you to the curb. Oh wait is that the FedEx truck? But yea it looks like your ready for that backbox power splitter on that GZ. Ought to see my GZ. Actually use that splitter on all my Stern's. Node boards aint cheap.
I just run the cheaper 4 way 12v splitters off the power supply board for now but they also have one that runs off the 48v circuit on the power supply board that looks pretty nice. Problem with that Spike system is that they barely have the power to run what they're already running and that cabinet node is infamous for releasing magic smoke. Only mod that should be plugged into that would be a shaker motor. And that's a must have on GZ. Cant believe Stern didn't include that on their premiums. Cheap Bastards!
Alright you convinced me i got on the list for the moving Godzilla. But I'm having mine sent over to Apinjunkie for the paint job to match the theme...

Haha, I'm definitely excited for what I've experienced so far. What backbox power splitter do you use?
