Here for the sausage and peppers ,A good tip is that get someone to drop you off that way a truck or a car won’t just be sitting there giving you away, plus it be more stealthier that way
I turned around in a circle, and there was snow over most of the lot, including a section of grass that I ended up driving through, unfortunately. I didnt tear anything up, thankfully - but did leave tire marks in the grass. I did feel bad.

Maybe you should restructure and purposefully make your channel like these where you ALMOST successfully stealth camp. Im sure it's stressful but i think it's very entertaining. Keep it up man. Police put people in jail, and with your train hopping experience, and having a beautiful wife and a good job, you had every reason to be nervous and nice to the cops. I am the same way honestly and have to stop myself because it does make it sound like you're just sorry you got caught vs sorry you didn't realize you couldn't park there. But, here, there wasn't much to be suspicious of by you saying sorry, as he just wanted your car out of that lot. Love your channel! Not trying to be mean at all. I wish nothing but the best for you. It feels like other stealth camping channels who NEVER EVER get caught, either have the consent to camp / trespass, but make it seem like they are sneaking around or they are just part of an ‘organisation’ that through a network of “special friends” turns a blind eye to their actions, if you catch my drift. In the UK surveillance is literally at 99% saturation, like CCTV is simply everywhere, maybe with the exception of a few private areas. An event in London at a private park a CCTV company was hired by the event organisers to ‘record for people’s safety’. I can’t remember the channel name, there are loads of ‘auditing videos’ on this subject. Check out “Auditing Britain” you might find it insightful for the current state of paranoia here. I think you keep getting busted because you're parking where you shouldn't be, or where people wouldn't normally park overnight. If you're going to park on a private lot of a business, go in and speak with the manager/owner and make up some story about your vehicle having issues, and ask if it's okay to park it there overnight. Or park on public street where other cars are parked, or have someone drop you off so your vehicle isn't lingering around to draw suspicion.
Industrial parks are no longer stealthy. It will continue to get harder to find stealthy spots as tech & awareness increase. Thanks for the educational experience.
I don’t disagree with you. There had been a lot of theft at this location according to the officer and the building owner and once I realized it was some sort of metal fabrication place. It’s not hard to understand why. Really sucks that this is what society has come to.
They ran my plate and my phone number is associated with it. Here in ohio you can do it all online. I have a profile for my vehicles, boat, boat trailer, drivers license, etc…….. it makes life very easy versus waiting at the bmv

It was sketchy going back, I put a video on the channel of grabbing my gear - luckily I was able to park on a public street and stuck to the tracks back to my spot!
You handled it well. It's OK. I try to figure out how to make it fit. I'll park where anyone might park. Then when I am separated from the car and the "City" I can just roll into the background.
After the Golf course & now this my guess is what I'm about to say has probably already sunken in, but as the CSO for a business with almost 100 factories as well as a few golf courses etc. I can PROMISE we are intimately familiar with the traffic flow on our properties. Any guard on cameras worth their salt will easily spot you. Full stop, DON"T park on private property. 🤣🤣🤣. Liked & subbed...Look forward to the next video!

Hi Sam - If it weren't for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all. You parked a mile away. Under normal circumstances that would be plenty far. But as you found out it happened to be on private property, and the guy had cameras. You should try to get your gear out of there ASAP, because they might be able to follow your footprints in the snow? Thanks for the video.
I retrieved the gear this morning. I’m actually editing the retrieval video as we speak. Should be live in a couple of hours. But you are correct. Hello Sam, if you don’t end up filming the retrieval of your stuff I don’t mind, but let us know if the retrieval is successful at least. I was really excited to see you got that Winteral Bivy as well. I was going to get that exact same one but I’m a little too tall for it. I don’t know how tall you are but I recommend you set it up somewhere and make sure you fit in it well. Love the video even though you had to bail!
You should rank your list from easy to hard depending on chances of getting caught, and go with easy ones then as you get better go with harder ones. I love seeing you set up and eat some good food
I pay $10/ night at U S ARMY CORP OF ENGINEERS PARKS. With all the amenities, water, electricity, showers , bathrooms, fire pits and grills most important ABSOLUTELY NO HARRASMENT, TICKETS OR FINES. I just don't get the idea of " stealth camping " or even the allure of it ? All I can think is some sort of cheap thrill of getting something for nothing or " sticking it to the man " 😂 😂
You played it well once you knew you were caught. Did everything right from that point on. Said all the right things in your epilogue as well. Very curious to know if you went back to get your stuff and how that turned out. I'd recommend leaving it for at least a couple days and then park in a different spot and go back at night. Going back the next day in broad daylight is dumb. The owner is going to be in there telling everyone the story. They'll recognize your truck immediately. Either wait a couple days or just write that stuff off and call it a penance. It's funny, when it started I could just tell that you were a tad cocky and were going to get caught. Whatever, I liked the video and subscribed. Looking forward to the story about you retrieving your gear and more content. Cheers! Oh yeah, forgot my main point: NO MORE STEALTH CAMPING! Just don't do it! It's not worth getting arrested, tossed in jail and possibly ending up with a criminal record. You don't need to come this realization in cuffs in the back of a cop car. Not worth it at all.

They ran my plate and my phone number is associated with it. Here in ohio you can do it all online. I have a profile for my vehicles, boat, boat trailer, drivers license, etc…….. it makes life very easy versus waiting at the bmv

I wouldn’t go back over there. They told you they would charge you with trespass. Abandon the gear and get some new stuff to play with.
It was sketchy going back, I put a video on the channel of grabbing my gear - luckily I was able to park on a public street and stuck to the tracks back to my spot!
You handled it well. It's OK.
I try to figure out how to make it fit. I'll park where anyone might park. Then when I am separated from the car and the "City" I can just roll into the background.
I just need to not park my car like an idiot

After the Golf course & now this my guess is what I'm about to say has probably already sunken in, but as the CSO for a business with almost 100 factories as well as a few golf courses etc. I can PROMISE we are intimately familiar with the traffic flow on our properties. Any guard on cameras worth their salt will easily spot you. Full stop, DON"T park on private property. 🤣🤣🤣. Liked & subbed...Look forward to the next video!

Hi Sam - If it weren't for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all. You parked a mile away. Under normal circumstances that would be plenty far. But as you found out it happened to be on private property, and the guy had cameras. You should try to get your gear out of there ASAP, because they might be able to follow your footprints in the snow? Thanks for the video.
I retrieved the gear this morning. I’m actually editing the retrieval video as we speak. Should be live in a couple of hours. But you are correct. I was 100% confident that I took every measure, and this was definitely my most stealthy set up yet. Lol. Another learning lesson. Much love for watching, and for the kind words.
Hello Sam, if you don’t end up filming the retrieval of your stuff I don’t mind, but let us know if the retrieval is successful at least. I was really excited to see you got that Winteral Bivy as well. I was going to get that exact same one but I’m a little too tall for it. I don’t know how tall you are but I recommend you set it up somewhere and make sure you fit in it well. Love the video even though you had to bail!

You should rank your list from easy to hard depending on chances of getting caught, and go with easy ones then as you get better go with harder ones. I love seeing you set up and eat some good food

I pay $10/ night at U S ARMY CORP OF ENGINEERS PARKS. With all the amenities, water, electricity, showers , bathrooms, fire pits and grills most important ABSOLUTELY NO HARRASMENT, TICKETS OR FINES.
I just don't get the idea of " stealth camping " or even the allure of it ? All I can think is some sort of cheap thrill of getting something for nothing or " sticking it to the man " 😂 😂

You played it well once you knew you were caught. Did everything right from that point on. Said all the right things in your epilogue as well. Very curious to know if you went back to get your stuff and how that turned out. I'd recommend leaving it for at least a couple days and then park in a different spot and go back at night. Going back the next day in broad daylight is dumb. The owner is going to be in there telling everyone the story. They'll recognize your truck immediately. Either wait a couple days or just write that stuff off and call it a penance.
It's funny, when it started I could just tell that you were a tad cocky and were going to get caught. Whatever, I liked the video and subscribed. Looking forward to the story about you retrieving your gear and more content. Cheers!
Oh yeah, forgot my main point: NO MORE STEALTH CAMPING! Just don't do it! It's not worth getting arrested, tossed in jail and possibly ending up with a criminal record. You don't need to come this realization in cuffs in the back of a cop car. Not worth it at all.
