  • Dan Lanning arrived from Georgia ahead of the 2022 season and has gone 22-5 in his two seasons at the helm. His on-field results are not even the strongest area of his coaching abilities (yet). The recruiting he's demonstrated over the last couple years should excite Oregon fans as they think about what sort of progrum he can continue to build.

Even though slick Willy used our program as a stepping stone and Mario Cristobal left us for personal reasons. I still thank them, because we are in great position now more than ever. Great coach and coaching staff, better Conference. What more can I ask for? The NATTY which we’re inching closer of achieving that goal. DUCKS FOR LIFE🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆

Everything at Oregon depends on one thing. Phil Knight's continuing patronage of the program from a facilities and a NIL standpoint. I'm not saying that Lanning is a bad coach. I am saying that having almost unlimited financial resources in this era gives him a huge advantage over virtually everyone else.

I believe growth is the key word. Your grading is good but I would only give him a C+ in on the field area. If he continues to grow in that area and starts to win the “bigger “ games, I think he will become a great head coach. Yes, he won two years in a row against Utah but did he against Washington? As the new kid on the block, I will be patient but expect continued improvement from him and the entire coaching team

I agree he has to beat Washington...but DeBoer is REALLY good and more experienced than him and that showed
