My son has this and he was hospitalized with blood thinners through the IV. He hast to take blood thinners for three months, but he must be careful not to cut his self or fall. and you easily bruise from the blood thinners, so be careful when you are moving about to not hit against anything to create bruises.
@@Mr.Giggles yes, my son was in a car accident and had to have surgery and then the blood clot developed he is now on BloodThinnerz, and it is subsiding which I am grateful for!

Please recheck the information you gave about: “Portal vein thrombosis not causing Ascites”. I think that’s not correct, PVT actually causes Ascites through build up of back flowing blood that creates pressure in the vessels as well as the intestines which causes INCREASED HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE leading to extravasation of fluid into the interstitial space: Ascites!
