I have come to realize I like this song for itself. I just wish they'd saved this for Amy's theme for a new solo appearance, and that they would have made a non romantic song that acknowledges Big and Cream. This cover emphasizes just how great this would be as Amy-solo song.
I do find it quite good that you mentioned this, however - as much as I like sonic heroes (childhood game), I do believe that Amy kinda regressed character wise in the game. The song kinda just seals the deal I guess xD Part of me wants to get a team together and do a fan based remaster - one thing I would do is slightly rewrite Team Rose's story based on the Character Arc that Amy had in Sonic Adventure / Adventure 2. Seeing as the Knuckles/Rouge arc did kinda continue in this game. Only downside is you can't change the iconic soundtrack.

It sounds super good! However, I did notice this bit of a buzzing(?) sound over the "s" sound at the end of some of the lines as if the microphone is glitching a bit. Idk if that's just me imagining things.
Awesome cover. I totally respect your right as a creator to put whatever promotional and shout-out materials you want at the end. But it does make adding this cover to a music playlist a little inconvenient Seriously though, awesome cover, minor gripe and it might just be me being ungrateful, but that's just my two cents. Keep the good work up :)
Having heard this cover several times over the last couple of weeks now, I think it's safe to say that this cover is superior to the original. The vocals are spot-on, and they really seem to hit home for me a lot better than the originals. The accompaniment was on point, and added a bit more flavor, if that's the proper term, for me. And I may be a bit biased in saying this this, but I find this to be the superior Amy Rose theme compared to "My Sweet Passion." Go ahead Adventure fans. I've said my peace, so if this is truly tantamount to sacrilegious, go to town on me.
