In my opinion, although Frill is just an AI and simply did what she was programmed to do “sometimes selfish and jealous” But still, she clearly acted human and often forgot she was an Ai so she’s still guilty to me and is a threat to society.
this is the best wonder egg amv i’ve ever seen. frill was never a villain, she was a young girl literally programmed by her fathers to be the way she is. they couldn’t handle the fallout of what they do callously created and punished her for it instead of helping her like they should a really daughter. frill was the first victim of the accas and from there she went on to take the life of himari and all the other egg girls in retaliation for what she suffered at their hands. the accas know they’re wrong, they even openly state that the girls would never fight for them if they knew the trusty about frill. the fact that the anime frames frill for everything and the accas as a helpless side party rubs me the wrong way. frill wasn’t right to kill azusa, but she’s a child, she was programmed by her “fathers” to be the way that she is, and instead of tending to her emotional needs like a true parent should they neglected her on favor of a new woman and a new daughter.
There was no proof that they neglected her. The only time that we see Frill be neglected is after she killed Azusa. The code for Frill was designed after the ideals that a father would want a daughter to have. But not to kill innocent people.
imo they didn't necessarily know she'd kill. ofc they wanted a daughter but they were enraged by the fact that the programmed daughter they wanted, killed their wife and child instead of love them the way she loved them

This anime really opened my eyes to the fact that this will someday be real AI is truly terrifying in every way right no people can steal your image make you even fully naked using some pictures of your body parts sap-rate and even take your clothes off from a silly little picture in front off a mirror and scum people using your voice easily and now scientists are making robots that look a replica of a human so yes this kind of horror is an inch away from being real I mean thousands of great people didn't warn us from going into AI for no reason you know there is a reason why we were called Gen z its because mankind are ending themselves by themselves and then blame God really if I was good I would have abounded this hole human thing
I haven't watched the show but, based on this edit I feel so bad for the ginger girl. I saw some people saying "she's evil" but I don't really see her as evil. She was brought to life as an experiment plus she just looks so innocent. Until she went from being the center of her father's attention to having to share that attention with another person. Then her jealousy extended to her killing her father's wife (or girlfriend?) and her unborn child. Which of course is extremely wrong but in my opinion her father was the evil one not her. I don't understand the whole second half with the other girl but, that's all that I took from this.
Well, she is supposed to be a tragic villain, but it's not like there had to be only one villain in a story. The creature of Frankenstein had a tragic backstory but to kill the doctor's family was definitely evil, it isn't "not evil" only because dr Frankenstein was an asshole who created/abandoned him. This "this character I like is automatically excused of everything if I can pin the moral blame on someone else" attitude is worrying, like the point was just to have someone to take accountable, I mean more people can be in the wrong at the same time. And someone could say, it's easy to be all sweet and happy when everything is going your way. The point is, they are indeed guilty because they created her, and they were so stupid to not follow the three laws of robotics, but she is indeed evil, because she is literally being created like that, guys didn't give her empathy (or maybe you can't give something like that to an artificial creature).
She is an AI and got jealous of the woman who was in love with one of her creators. She murdered the woman and also manipulated her daughter to commit suicide. Pretty evil to me
