    Coming from someone who is just getting into the game and looking to buy my first racket, this was a great review. You do a good job of explaining things clearly and not confusing.

    For those who has interest in this user friendly beginner racket, it is indeed a good racket. One thing to mention, difference between iteration is very minimal. You can get much cheaper racket by buying older ezone 100 edition. (or secondhand market)

    I have my ezone strung with 14 kg Grapplesnake Tour M8. Plays great. I don't like stiff strings so I used to use multi-filament utill Tennis Nerd suggested very low tension poly stringing, which I did and am very happy with.

    I had a very similar experience. I played as a teenager, then went off and took two other sports very seriously. 30 years after I last hit a ball, I’m back to tennis again and like you tried the Babolat Pure Aero. Just like you I also found something wasn’t quite right; I found it a bit spiky. After trying my coach’s Ezone I now have one on order - I loved it’s much more natural organic feel. He also went from a Pure Aero to the Ezone.

      HAHA! Glad to know I’m not the only one! Must have something to do with our game and technique I guess? 😅 Thank you for sharing!

      @@AdventureTennis I’ve just heard someone else, someone far better than me, say on You Tube “with the Pure Aero; every now and then a shot would fly past the baseline into the netting, and I don’t know why”. This is exactly what my coach said, and I’ve had the same thing happen. With the eZone this never happens.

    • @AdventureTennis
      @AdventureTennis  11 месяцев назад +1

      @@RobManser77 Interesting. We had some of that happen with the Percept 97 and I think that it’s likely due to the denser string pattern and smaller head size, making for a smaller sweet spot but a more powerful one? Not sure but that’s just me thinking out loud.

    • @RobManser77
      @RobManser77 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@AdventureTennis These were all 100 head size and 16 x 19. I thought it was just me, but my coach is pretty good, so if he found it too then it must be something to do with the racket.

    I've been playing with it for 4 months now and I think control is not its strong side, it is not bad, but power is the strong side of it. Also it is maneuverable and quite forgiving. Overall it's a really good racket.

    Hey i came back to this video because i play with e zone 100 but it doesnt give me the plow through to my forehand winer due to the head shape also sometimes the balls flys outwards to whrere i want
    At the same time i play with gravity mp it for more plow through but i have a lot miss hits when out of the sweet spot
    So i confused and i kind have t foun what i want

    • @AdventureTennis
      @AdventureTennis  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the comment. Very true. I also have recently reviewed the Pure Aero 98 (and also played with the 100 version). I found I have much less miss hits with it so maybe a good racquet to check out? The 100 has more plow through imo but the 98 is much more whippier and still has lots of control (less miss hits). Hope this helps.

    For an intermediate teenis player how do you recommend the ezone 98. Also which is better ezone 98 or pure drive 98

    • @AdventureTennis
      @AdventureTennis  Год назад

      I’ve only played a handful of times with the 98. I think it’s a little snappier than the 100 but if you really work on your hand-eye coordination and timing, it can definitely be a great racquet.
      In regards to the pure drive, I’ve never tried it. I think it might come down to personal preference: weight distribution, stiffness, size, colour, etc.
