Ecen though I never had a MySpace account back when Sonny was making shit like this, I still come back to this because of how much I learned from him. I know it's a cardinal sin to get emotional on the internet because not a lot of people come across your comments. This is just how I feel comming back to this. Sonny has been one of those artists who I was introduced to at a time where I was experiencing fear in highschool because I had no idea as to what I really wanted to do. I felt like I wasn't really getting the fulfilment that I wanted. I was trying so hard to succeed at math and code, things like that. The only classes I really enjoyed were performing arts based, like Stage Production and Drama Club. When I wasn't spending my time at school ghosting my way through the normal shit, I would end up stapling my balls to my laptop, so to speak. Meaning that I would spend hours on end creating things. I was playing around with the Unreal Engine and Ableton, and every time I recorded a new sound, every time I created a new design I stsrted to feel a spark that I couldn't even find in a woman. Visual and music production has helped me through so much stress and boredom, that to this day I still have vivid dreams of colabing with artists that most people just think is impossible for whatever reasons they make up in their heads. Look, if a guy like Marshmallow can end up colabing with what we know now as big artists, then certainly I can end up getting a chance to make some music and learn some really useful skills I couldn't find anywhere else from Sonny. That's all I am gonna say here. Who knows? Maybe this will be seen by someone who has connections and isn't scamming people from Egypt. I just wanna put this out there for the hell of it. Hopefully it inspires youth and liberates some creativity in you.
