Thanks, Dee! Excited to go tomorrow… it’s been a few weeks. We always buy the cremini mushrooms and grape tomatoes. Sometimes the basa but I like the haddock. Last month I tried the bag of broccoli florets and it was so fresh!! It lasted for ages and was good to the last for just the two of us. I’d like to try the grapes this time. Produce can be hit or miss. Dont think I’ll watch that show since we love our grocery store romaine hearts 😂 See you next time!! 👋🏼

You get so much for so little and it's very rare you'll pick a container that isn't good. Just always inspect is my tip 🙂
@@DEEANDFAM will definitely try the grapes!! The haddock imo is mild. I just broil it with a bit of butter dabbed on top and a sprinkling of outer banks seasoning. Goes in my toaster oven/air fryer for a few minutes and yummy.
Thank you Dee! I prefer the pistachios in the shell because they taste fresher. A trick for opening them is to shell one and use the half shell to pry the rest open. Saves my fingers. Try it next time!
I buy the hydroponic lettuces they grow in store. Sobey’s has them. Also Ontario grown lettuce when in season. Or California grown lettuce but only when it is not from Salinas California. Only if stated specifically it is from Monterey California. If it states from USA then it is very likely from Salinas!
Hello there, My Costco didn't have all the sales you mentioned in your video. However, I did buy a lot of fruits and vegetables. But the prices are insane. I never buy packaged food but my bill was $630. I was happy to use my $450 rebate which helped a lot. Costco is a better alternative than shopping at Safeway. Thank you for the video. Love hearing that you got a ton of fruits and veggies. We tend to do that also. I feel like I get so much more produce at Costco vs most places for the amount I get. Way to go with that huge rebate check! 🙌🏼
I finally got to Costco Friday. It was nuts busy. Spent 981.00, I was surprised by that. The tomatoes were all bad. I paid 7.99 for strawberries, no sale here. I got my husband the Eddie Bauer runners in black. I seal vac the meat yesterday. I bought the biscoff cake as a treat for me. I take a piece out of the freezer one at a time so I don’t eat the whole cake in a few days. 😂 have a good week Dee 🇨🇦💕👍🐶

I know how you feel about lettuces. I won't eat them unless I am getting them from our local farm market. The one exception is head lettuce. While I know there is not the same food value there, it does add the crunch to use in a Greek style salad that we love. I take off a couple of layers of the outer leaves and throw them into compost, and then slice about an inch off putting that at the bottom of the salad bowl, then add any veg I have on hand, grated carrot, a few olives and feta cheese. In Canada through the winter you do start to crave a nice salad. I often add a piece of fish on the side.
