Thank you for sharing this! I took a hobby knife and trimmed mine down without removing anything yesterday after watching and with a little steering adjustment afterwards almost completely eliminated it. I trimmed everything close to a 45 degree angle all the way to both sides of metal dog bone. I’d trim a little bit at a time and run it, to see if I thought it needed more. Took about 20 minutes to get it like I wanted, but a lot of that was testing.

It should be a easy fix from the wpl factory let's hope they cotton on and fix it . I guess I'll find out when the new soft top Jimmy turns up that I ordered today 😁
I kept seeing in the background what looked ro be a pretzel and my o.c.d. was getting to me and i thought well if he's not going to eat it,you know kinda like that last soggy chip or french fry,left on your friend's plate just say hey I'll eat that if your not love the video just getting into rc crawlers and you're very helpful i wouldn't have guessed it would be that simple thanx
Ive been showing people this for ages, works for the old RTRs with plastic dogs too. You can use some small flush cutters to trim as well, far quicker! My AliExpress £1.29 specials worked perfectly! 😂

Does your front axle creak when it moves? I noticed that my upper right link rubs on the differential cover and nobody else seems to have this issue. Great vid btw, helped a lot. Thanks

I can say it's a nice body the suspension is bad and the electronics failed during the unboxing 😔 But it is cheap and the seller is sending me a replacement board so I'd say I was possibly unlucky but it seems common. But for the price of 2 McDonald's if you like the look of it buy it with the view to instantly upgrading the electrics and it will be ok I think but when I fix it there will be a video when the part's come in 😊

It will help but it definitely needs to drive cup's trimming to make the steering smoother on full lock. And lubing the drive cup's is definitely a good idea if nothing else but to get rid of the world war 1 & 2 tank sound effects 😂
@@compazeus7041 You did show me in a email video by moving the steering horn and adjusting the steering linkage . I think you should make a video on it and post I don't think I would do it justice 😁

if you hold the the steer knob on the controller all the way to one side and press the s.rate button, it will adjust the steering range.

And lubing the drive cup's is definitely a good idea if nothing else but to get rid of the world war 1 & 2 tank sound effects 😂

It is the best long term fix but to make it drivable until then 10 minutes will make a good difference 😊
