I couldn’t walk too much after a fall at the beginning of the month, so decided to get back to Slimming World. 4.5lb off in 2 weeks, so really chuffed with that. Your inspiration helped so much. We adopted a dog in April and this has been transformative for me in walking and getting outside, as I knew it would be. Oh Sarah, How I am going to miss your daily vlogs. You have kept us all uplifted and positive through a dark and dreary month, which for me has been made much worse with flu and chest infections. I am still recovering but determined to follow your example of some gentle and regular exercise when I feel well enough. Having made videos to send to my American pen friend I know how much time and work goes into editing, so to do it every day whilst working so hard is amazing. You are so generous to give away the Sheep bag, you deserve to enjoy it yourself. Looking forward to the book club and crafting videos to come. Be kind to yourself and enjoy your crafting and walking. The snowdrops are a promise of the spring to come. xx

You are one of my 2025 role models. I live in the US, but joined the 1000 mile walking challenge. Toned it down to a more reasonable 250 miles for me. And putting together my treadmill I gave myself for an early Valentines gift 🎁 I live in Maine and don’t want to stop walking in the snow and ice. I found your channel via Little Drops of Wonderful. Another of my 2025 role models. Maybe there’s a RUclips channel in my future LOL

Finally the SHEEP bag is beautiful. Sheep are one of my favourite animals and I can’t wait for spring and seeing the lambs in the fields on the drive to work. 😊

What a WONDERFUL giveaway......SHEEP!!!! I think your monthly breakfast with your parents is such a wonderful gift you give each other!! My parents are in their 90's and no longer mobile....enjoy your time with your parents, it is so special!! It is so hard to plan fun things when there are so many obligations, but it is a wonderful thing to prioritize!! I have so enjoyed your daily posts!!

Now the birds are singing and the snowdrops are out, the days are longer and friends are coming out of hibernation. What rocks my boat? People! Family, and friends real and virtual. I live alone after a long marriage, I’m not lonely and I love my knitting and other crafts, but it’s contact with people that really matters. The snowdrops were beautiful Sarah. I think having things in the diary to look forward to is so important. We’ve booked a few days away with our two sons and family and I think family is very important in my life. Sarah, I've had a tough month with a knee injury I sustained at the first barre class I tried (trying to do something good for myself!) In the first week of January. I found myself looking forward to your daily vlogs--they felt like a friend checking in on me every day! ❤ it's a generous thing that you and others do (Gayna, Ali, for example) to offer up glimpses into your lives, quietly supporting your viewers through reflective comments and lovely vistas. So lovely to see snowdrops, which are so special to me. Love glass milk bottles, especially with the Bovaer milk scandal, affecting milk, butter, cream, yoghurt, cheese etc and coffee shops as they will be using the affected milk? Well done with the walking Sarah. I started a fitness class for the over 55's beginning of January. Will be keeping that up through the year. Loved spending January with you, my walking is limited but the snow drops in our local church yard are a delight. Can’t wait for the daffs to come out my absolute favourites with roses coming a close second, yours are lovely. After trying to find your SHEEP bag on line to purchase I would love to win it, your so kind.
We had a lovely lunch out with some good friends this week and we hopefully will keep that up each month although even though retired life gets in the way.
I have learnt to crochet in the last couple of months so want to carry on with that, and finally knit a Felix cardigan that I am happy with 😂

Thank you so much Sarah. I suffer with SAD and the ‘ary’ months I approach with dread, but this year, I’ve been so much better. I’ve felt more attuned to myself and my surroundings, I had my very first snowdrop bloom in the garden on 23rd December and that filled me with so much hope. I’ve enjoyed knitting and I’ve challenged myself to improve my knitting skills. I’ve also made sure that I’ve been out more, I’ve been to the cinema, coffee dates, lunch dates, did a craft workshop, written letters, and you really have helped me. I’ve never been to a yarn show, so I’ve put that on my to do list for this year. When I do attend I hope they have some lovely sheep bags on sale. Take care, and thanks again xx

Thank you Sarah for your vlogs it’s been lovely popping in with you each day. I don’t know if you remember I was going to start the Hotel of bees shawl inspired by your History of trees shawl. Well it is well under way now, it’s been a little challenging at times but I’ve persevered.😅.
