Whatever you need, the Yamaha THR10II Guitar Amp has you covered.
For a start, it's compatible with electric guitars, acoustics, and basses. So it doesn't matter what kind of axe you play - it'll work with this amp. You've got plenty of choice as well. The THR10II features 15 different guitar amp models, 3 bass amps, and 3 microphone models that'll let you quickly change up the sound of your instrument. Add in its excellent sound quality and sensational tonal balance at every frequency, and you've got a versatile desktop amp for any and every guitarist.
The THR10II may be small. But it packs a frankly gigantic number of ways for you to play with your sound. With EQ and built-in effects, there are numerous ways you can change up your tone already pre-loaded. But you can take them further. The supremely easy-to-use THR Remote editing app will let you craft voices for your instrument straight from your phone or computer, then save them to the amp for instant use with your guitar.
Music should be effortless. And it is with the Yamaha THR10II. It's not big or clunky, so you don't need to worry about finding a load of space for it. Compact enough to sit on a shelf, it's also got a sleek, stylish design that'll fit in with the decor of your home. So there'll be no more dragging out big amps and setting them up whenever you want to play.
This is an amplifier that's multi-functional too. Because it's Bluetooth enabled, you can play your own tunes through the amp and use it as an extremely high quality speaker. Whether you're listening to music or making it, the THR10II makes it hassle-free.
I got the Mark II yesterday and I’m loving it! It’s very convenient and crunchy.
Same here in Phnom Penh!
Hi, i hope you re enjoying your amp . i have a question : can i get fixed song presets from the internet for this amp like i can for the marshall code or the fender mustang gt ?
@@thanasisbb1577 I haven’t looked into that much but I have seen some decent presets uploaded by searching google. It’s really not hard to tweak yourself. Just look up the amp settings an artist used for a given album and adjust accordingly.
Thanks dude
Hey dude do you know if the exact presets from the thr10x/thr10c are on there??
I have the THR5 plugged into a PV valve king half stack 100 watt amp and it's rather cool sounding. Neighbors are totally ready to kill.
Mine comes in tomarrow ! Am very excited !
Have fun dude, I'm looking to get one myself soon
I have the thr10ii, extremely nice sound and much more volume than you would think
@Guitars & Gears It's an amazing amp! The tones it comes with are killer!! However I may have damaged the amp from attempting to gig with it full volume. It now sounds a little muddy on the low ends but over still sounds amazing. (A lil word of advice DONT TURN IT UP ALL THE WAY) Lol other than that I wish I could control the echo tempo through the amp. I haven't got around to test out the Bluetooth app. So more to come forsure! The specs of the amp do not lie! Go grab this amp if you can!
Nice playing
Nice demo and review. I have the original THR10, and have been happy with it. I'm tempted to upgrade to the THR10II since it's 20 watts instead of 10. Do you think it would be worth getting the upgrade?
I just bought mine today and I love the sound. Now to just figure out how to connect to Bluetooth. Asking for a friend
i just can't believe the tones are really as good as they sound in this demo. there must be some studio voodoo going on somewhere!
Oh, these things sound incredible in person.
Mine sounds great. Love it.
Seen me like you may be working for Yamaha
Just got mine last weekend.
Does this litteraly have the same presets as the THR10X model?
@@kiezersosay49 No. But you can get very close by experimenting with the different cabs.
@@RADERFPV i picked up a thr10x for 165! I thought it was going to be my on the go portable amp, but its my go to at home now too. Living in an apartment i cant go to loud. As much as i love my katana 100 i think the little thr10x sounds better...
Have you seen the guy on here that hooks one up to a headrush PA? Im thinking about doing that.
@@kiezersosay49 Wow, that's an awesome price, you scored big time! I've been eyeing them, and they've been going upward of thr30ii prices. Hold on to that bad boy!! I haven't seen that particular video. I'm surprised, I thought I've seen them all by now, I go OCD when researching, lol. I'm fortunate to have a blackstar 100w head pushing an acoustica 4×12. The metal tones I get out of it are mind boggling.
@@RADERFPV search "thr10x headrush" the tones hea getting sound legit. I herd one of them alone can handle a show with 150 ppl easy. Theres 8 and 12" PAs from headrush. They list the peak power at 2000w, but not the rms. Iether way it seems like somthing worthy of gigging...specially if you plug in to 2 of em. I have my katana 100 if i need to go louder, but if end up playing shows i think id go for the headrush.
Great demonstration :) But what about acoustic guitar, and bass? Does it have fullrange speakers?
It sounds great with the acoustic .Just Amp set dial to "Aco " add a bit of chorus and delay. Heaven
Very good presets
It's wireless ready, but saddly at this moment (Jan 2020) all the G10T devices were removed from the stores by Line6 because of a risk of overheating (fire?). Don't know when they are put them back on the market.
oh that explains why it suddenly disappeared .
@@metalliholic I just bought a thr / line 6 bundle - apparently there's a firmware update that deals with the overheating issue :-)
I understand the thr30 runs on a lithium battery. Is this battery easily replaceable? And when you are jamming at home can you bypass the battery and just run it plugged in to an outlet?
Yes and yes
What does he mean " booteak" ..I don’t see the boutique thing .?
Hello. Can you put it in bigger cabinet speaker ?
Does it also work on batteries/gets charged?
Is there enough clean/bluesy tones on it though?
What is a big difference between the 30 and the 10? Thanks for the good video.
Wondering the same thing.
I think you’re mixing up the series and the model? The 10 is part of the series name “the THR10ii series”. And the 30 is one of the models in that series, there is also the 10 and 20 versions in the series I believe. The 10, 20, and 30, are just the wattage rating, our in other words, how loud it can go
The 30 is handy because you can cycle between the modern boutique and classic amps without using the app, and it has a little more headroom. The 10 is plenty loud enough for home use though, i mean neighbors calling the cops loud.
The 30 has line outs in the back. can be used to hook up to speakers for a gig or something. I also saw a youtube video of a guy hooking up a looper pedal to the line outs, so that's pretty neat. Im getting the 30 over the 10 just for the ability to plug up with a looper pedal
Does anyone know if it litteraly has the same presets as the thr10x/thr10c? I'm about to pull the trigger on a practice amp and if it did it may just sway me... some1 help!
Can you save more than 5 settings with the app?
Yes
review the Acoustic version please
The Acoustic setting on the Amp dial is great
Anyone know where I can get the bug for it? Is it just any Bluetooth receiver ?
Line 6 G10TII. Yamaha own Line 6 now and this is directly compatable with the built-in receiver in the THR wireless models.
"noodletastic" 😂
how would you add a looper to this after the effects? a midi footswitch for the DAW?
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a tool to log back into an Instagram account?
I stupidly lost my account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Cooper Jacob instablaster ;)
@Kaysen Tomas thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Kaysen Tomas It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thank you so much you saved my ass !
@Cooper Jacob Happy to help :D
Does the THR play guitar through both speakers? Because I tried already 2 THRs II and I got impression, that guitar plays only through LEFT speaker of THR amp - can anyone confirm?
I've seen you've asked this question a few times. I just bought mine yesterday. It definitely plays through both speakers. It's a good little amp, but in my opinion it's a touch over priced.
@@hugoperry1452 I think for everything it’s capable of doing it right on the money
So the THR10ii classic doesn’t have amp models ?
Daniel Noah Garcia Yes it does.
On the THR 10ii you can access all the models by using the app. It's a really good amp.
@@coaldoubt2879 do you have to pay for extra cabs and effects like some of the other apps make you do?
@@joshuamichael4312 Nah, it's all in there. The only issue I had is the lack of foot switch. I use a multi effects into it and it sounds pretty damn good. I don't regret buying it.
@@coaldoubt2879 the lack of footswitch bothers me for sure. I need to be able to add or change effects/tones on the fly. Maybe they'll add one soon.
If it sounds so good, why do you need mic's in front of it to enhance the sound? Let's hear it without all the added help.
What? How are you going to hear it without microphones?
@@Comrade.Question Line out...
The volume of my THR10II is very low, how to fix it please
@Arthur L Smith but the thr10 have hight level
I’ll never understand why manufacturers of this kind of stuff are always trying to make stuff that emulates stuff from the mid to late 20th century. It’s a really limiting approach to design imo
Interesting perspective. If we kept recreating older sounds there wouldn’t be much innovation. The old sounds were groundbreaking at one point. What comes closest to doing something new among modern amps?
Yes I would rather have that mid 16th century sound.
I just cant dig it. Wireless...just not authentic to me.
Jeeez it sounds bad. I sent my back and I just come here from time to time to remind myslef why
Should I get this or Boss Katana 50 2?
Gandalf The Maroon I had both, and I think Boss is bang for Buck, but Yamaha does sound better at lower volumes
@@wojciech2456 Then why'd you send it back?
Anyone know where I can get the bug for it? Is it just any Bluetooth receiver ?
Gandalf The Maroon I didn't like the Amp sims
Finally. A real guitarist, rather than a bunch of glorified noodlers doing the demo for this practice amp. Thank you.
