No reason to lay up on hole 3. Mental mistake that cost you a stroke. Hole 4 you do it again and top of it your telling yourself your going to hit it bad. Mental mistake. No the shorter the par 3 the easier it is. 6 holes in and you my friend need to stop the negative thoughts. Golf is a very mental game. Ok thru 9 holes your playing ok. Alot of miss hits. Looks like your standing up on your bladed irons and perhaps a bit over swinging. If you slow it down just a touch your going to hit the ball better. Tip for 15 foot putts and in. On 5 or 6 you made a putt and said you watched it so the way in. Keep your head down and hear the putt go in the hole. That's what my pop always told me. Yea you pull your driver a bit and push your iron. That's your main miss with them clubs. I think that will get better if you slow your swing down because your not hitting most of your shots crisp and that's normal for high handicap players. As you get better you get faster. Good luck brother you got it.
