Reading about Saints, I noticed that they had Spiritual Directors. We do need to be careful about who we choose because there are a lot of people on media claiming to be spiritual directors. I had a Catholic friend say something something about her spiritual director. I inquired how can I get one? She referred me to someone and that person found someone for me. Wednesday will be my first meeting with a spiritual director. A little nervous but I do feel the Lord guided me to seek for one. Thank you for confirming how someone else can help us on our search.

People used to tell me that I wouldn’t have such a strong desire for marriage and children if God hadn’t called me to that vocation, that I must be called to that state if God doesn’t take away my desires for marriage and family when I ask Him to do so if it’s not His Will for me to marry. Single and 37, I have realized that these well-meaning people were full of it. Remember that the devil can use other people, masquerading as an angel of light, just as much as God can use these means…
