- This video I will show you my cutest needle felting collection that I made over a period of time. Felting is one of the oldest fiber crafts, it is a process to create an object made with wool fibers. There are two types- one is dry (needle) felting and the other one is wet felting. This video shows the creations I made with dry felting, this process uses a special barbed needle to create friction between the fibers when you use the needle to poke them up and down. This allows the fibers to tangle together and creates a volume. There is no rule to needle felting, however safety is very important and always watch what you are doing.
I used a pun on the word 'felt' for the title of the video, it's both a none and a verb at the same time. I really enjoy felting, It makes me feel relaxed and concentrated, but sometimes I do get very tired when poking them for a long time ^_^!

thank you, most of them took hours. Eg. the elephants took me 3-5 hours and the large ones took more than that.

nop, I made the bows myself :D! I will try to make a tutorial when I can demonstrate it better because it's very roughly done now.
thanks, everything takes a very long time to make because it's made from a single needle. But sometimes i do use multiple ones at the same time.

I got my wool at my local store, you can get them on Etsy or Ebay. I am not sure what size the eyes, they are around 35mm in diameter.
I have been felting for half a year now, but not too oftem because of study. So these are all the things i made during that time.

Ok now you said there two different ways to do wool felting can you message me and let me know. This is awesome. I do hand bags clothes kiguramis ext. With fleece and clothing material already. To be honest this is the first time I have heard of wool felting. And am going to try it. Seems like less work with sewing it looks more easyer. So let me know what you use what needles to get ext. I really want to try them all, but I don't understand chinese, tried the elephant anyway, it turned better than I expected, but I really like to make the bears with the phone strap and the little cakes and christmas things, if you have patterns of them, that would be nice too

How'd you put it on a key chain?!?
SquidWafflez you poke a hole at the top with an awl or a needle. Then, insert an eye pin or ring loop. Then, connect the keychain. It's really simple ;)
