I watched Geek Culture's gaming reviews, in which they reported that the front thermals were, in some instances, considerably higher than the rear. This might be due to saturation or the vapour chamber's efficiency. It would be intriguing to measure this as well, assuming it hasn't been done already. I'm uncertain about being comfortable with more heat emanating from the display than the rear.

The graphics on that pixel are passable even on lower resolution but i do agree, if it is similarly priced to other 2024 flagships then that doesnt make sense for a mobile gamer. As someone who went through hell with Warzone Mobile during beta with my Google pixel 6A I know almost every single thing and issue and answer to the problem After the pixel 4A Google no longer used Snapdragon Chips. And created their “Tensor G1” chips. The google pixel 6A for example had great specs on paper. 6 gb ram Octacore processor and a tensor g1 chip which they said was like a snapdragon 800. During beta For a few months I got 60 fps. But then after a certain update. It was horrible. It never got better. Global launch was about to happen and I tried to see if it was better again. But nope. It was a 40 fps glitchy mess. I broke the screen on my pixel 6A and had to get a new phone. I only had a couple hundred bucks and knew there was no phone I could get to play warzone mobile. I saw the pixel 6A was around $200 since it had been out a few years. But then I saw the iPhone 11 was $200. It was older and had lower specs. But I took the chance. And my god. I’m still using it to play warzone mobile. The struggle I had with google pixels and their tensor chip was a load of bs. I used to play apex Mobile on high graphics on just the pixel 4A but the 6a couldn’t even barely play warzone mobile. Idk I just say if you need a cheap good phone to play warzone Mobile on That won’t give you issues then pay the $200 and get a new iPhone 11.
It’s the biggest drawback here is that the GPU is Mali-G715 MC7. So it’s the same GPU as the pixel 8 pro but with three fewer graphics cores. I also heard somewhere that each core is clocked lower than the Immortalis variant. This is ambience to be the main cause for the performance difference. But I wonder if Google decided to go that route in an effort to save thermal headroom for the additional TPUs it’s using it for AI?

The s24ultra is running this game pretty dam good with this update cause i been complaining to Activision for a minute now the only thing that hasn't been fixed is the s24ultra's 992p compared to the iphone's 1296p they know what there doing then the s24ultra would be on top and they dont want that but hey it plays great on the s24ultra 😊
The hardware still need 7 to 8 years of advancement just to keep up with warzone’s graphics, the game is simply ahead of its time… I know a lot of ppl hate on it and I understand why but still we need to be fair and this game is just too powerful for today’s hardware

I don't mind the reduced graphics in general; but, I'm sure that it would gnaw at me if I paid anywhere near full price like you did. The seemingly inevitable 9a with this chip will very likely be the Pixel to get if you're a gamer. There's nothing wrong with this Tensor chip that a huge carrier subsidy wouldn't fix and the "Pixel a" phones tend to get those subsidies sooner or later.. I know this isn't something you cover; but, how is the Pixel to live with? Is the software good? Is the performance lighting fast for non-gaming tasks?
I just saw your zzz test on the Pixel 9 Pro. Google should be ashamed of themselves. Why charge so much for such a weak processor. They could have at least put SD8G3 despite SD8G4 releasing soon
@@DameTech between the time i posted this comment, i have fiddled around with playcover which allows me to “emulate” ipad and iphone apps, plus i think there is another method that lets you play pc version of games but im yet to try that yet Btw play cover crashed and i think i may have to look at what i did wrong and reinstall all my games from scratch 😂

Check the warzone mobile now on Galaxy S24 Ultra because they fix the fps bugs... Compare now with Iphone 15 pro. I think Galaxy S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra both beat the Iphone 15 pro on same settings. 😉 Check it bro🎉
Comparing them is not feasible since the Pixel operates on medium graphics and lower resolutions. If the settings were adjusted to match those of the Pixel, it's likely that the iPhone would significantly surpass the Pixel in FPS. It is well-known that the iPhone outperforms the S24U in most games.

I think you should test it for minimum of 4 hours of gaming session, the real gamers would play several hours or even more. I play on two phones specifically ip15promax and nubia redmagic 9 pro but the experience and thermals are worst on an iphone since it gets hot quickly which affects its touch sensitivity and make it unplayable. Iphone 15 pro max usually starts at good fps but later on it drops down significant once you played it on several hours.
@@mcappperspective6099 if your playin that long it’s best to just invest in a phone cooler which then defeats the need to do thermal comparisons. With a cooler pixel, iPhone, or RedMagic 9 will perform great thermal wise. This is more of a performance test. It’s clear the Pixel just cannot compete with the iPhone or S24 Ultra as they are running a much more demanding version of WZM. Also gaming phones like the RedMagic 9 Pro with built in cooler is just on a different league as they are designed for gaming unlike premium phones like the Pixel, iPhone, or Galaxy phones.

@@DameTech Yes, I am using Signulous which costs $20 per device to install any IPA such as Fortnite, Fall Guys, etc. Then, I am using an older version of iMazing (1.5.1) to access the game files and enable support for 120fps.
Honestly if I didn't have this channel I'd probably would have done the same. I'm hoping after a few updates Pixel can further optimize the G4 chip and increase performance; however, I don't think it will be much.

Warzone just needs better optimization. Modern flagship chips have more power than an Xbox Series S. The iOS versions are more optimized unfortunately

Older MacOS use to let you sideload. However, the new MacOS updates supposedly allows the ability to translate most PC games. I'll look into to this!
