18:45 you're worrying about what non-fans (think about that, people who aren't fans) will like to tune into a wrestling show, which they'll watch for five minutes before tuning out.
Y'all gotta stop worrying so much about what other people think and letting that affect your enjoyment of a TV show. Wrestling fans always been weird about this stuff. Like even non rap fans know who Drake is, they might not know who NF or even The Game is, but hip hop lovers do, and no one is saying NF is a failure because he has way less fans than Drake. Maybe AEW needs to find a better way to market itself and some of the fanbase needs to get over the "how many people are watching" insecurities and this fair-weather fan stuff.

I do agree that we hang on too much to the idea of ratings being a big thing. So many grew up on the Monday Night Wars and how ratings were so huge to both WWE & WCW, so it sticks to us to this day.
I think the biggest thing is the lack of marketing as I've heard many fans say they didn't know AEW was in town until the day of the show and MJF was on the local news and what not. At some point, AEW does need to grow and build up stars that will garner outside attention and bring in new fans. When you have Edge, Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Mercedes and other big WWE names that aren't drawing ratings to your show, something is wrong.
