Thanks for the insightful videos again. Unfortunately Boolean collection is not working on me. What i am seeing are only spheres seperately. My version is 2.8. Is it also applicable in this version ?
Oh I see. Yeah, it is probably not available in 2.8, but why don't you upgrade to a later version? If you are working on a project that specifically needs 2.8, you can install multiple versions on the same machine. So you can keep working on 2.8 for your project work while learning more aspects of Blender on a more recent version. In any case, if the collection option is not available for you, you can still do this. You have to just select one object at a time and do the boolean operation. It will take little more time to go through each object, but the end result will be the same.
Good question. It is the color of the sphere. The cube does not have any internal parts other than the six outer surface planes. All mesh objects are treated as hollow in Blender. So the curved surface generated post boolean operation came from the sphere. So this part will get the material of the sphere only.
For simple rolling, you can just animate its rotation angles. But for a realistic drop and roll on a surface, you need to use Blender's rigid body physics. You'll make this dice an Active rigid body and the surface or the ground as a passive rigid body and bake the physics. Please watch our rigid body physics tutorials for more on this.

Could you please make the tutorials more elaborate, like when you choose a setting could you please explain exactly how it impacts the animation?
Thanks! This really helped me, i've been using blender for almost 2 months, ur videos are soo helpful, great job! Keep doing this stuff :>
Glad to know that you liked the tutorial! Thank you so much 💝
@@5MinutesBlender No problem!

Good wrk man 🔥
Thank you!
Awesome job
Thank you! Cheers!
Sir can we write any text on the surface of the dice? 🎲
I just want to surprise my 6 friends writing their names 🔍🔍🙂
How the white color of the sphere is projected after applying a boolean whether is it of sphere or cube (Subsurface).

@@5MinutesBlender Ohh , Yes, Thanks
@@5MinutesBlender We can use it to write text on any object by converting text into mesh?
@@COOLACADEMYFORPHYSICSANDMATH Yes definitely.
Sir how to make it to roll
