- This is the Chuck E. Cheese in Altoona Pennsylvania.
It originally opened as a Showbiz Pizza, but was converted into a Chuck E. Cheese. All the stages of this type are going to be gone soon so I'm super glad I was able to go.

this was a showbiz when my aunt and uncle went to it as kids (my mom was too old to enjoy it). i went here a lot as a kid (even tho i live in pittsburgh we would make trips to see our grandma and other family in altoona all the time) im going for one last trip here during christmas break with my brother and sister before they take these guys out !! im excited to see them one last time (when i was a kid the helen here was literally my best friend, i would give her hugs and literally just sit and talk to her instead of playing games) im really sad that they’re taking them out :( but at least ill be able to say goodbye

Back in my country, we had Chuck E. Cheese locations but I never heard of them having animatronics, to no surprise really. If the animatronics started to get tore down and removed in the early 90s/20s, they had no chance in getting to a country as humble as mine lol I would've loved seeing them in person now that I am so fond of the animatronic topic 😭
I just visited today December 22, 2023. They did not work at all. I'm still happy I went though.

Altoona's my local, and AFAIK the bots are still technically functional, just not receiving signals anymore for some reason. I don't think they've worked properly since Altoona switched to the new Navori system (allowing stores to download show files from the Internet instead of getting physical disks for shows). The last time I was there in October, they were on random mode constantly while the show played.
Fun fact it was the 2nd to last location to have latex masks

I'm planning to go visit this Chuck E. Cheese this March, before the animatronics are gone by the end of May.
I will always have a picture I took from this exact location of this stage
i called and asked about these guys, they are projected to leave in may 2024, if u want to see them go by then

SAD NEWS i was here last week and they were sadly broken i asked an employee and she said they were being removed in may that corprate wont send any more parts

Hopefully there will be a way to see a 3 stage when the number gets to 0 3 stages left right now there are only 5 left and 1 cu 1 stage so and I think the pineville location that’s I went there 2024 January 20-21 and I just wanted to keep seeing it.

Someone told me they would remodel in September but it's just some random person so idk
It'll be there until Spring 2025, so yes.

i went to a 3 stage today and they where in good shape except munch but he was still good and they didn’t sing much they moved and stuff
