Since taking up drawing, I'm consciously making an effort to notice my surroundings and observing the many different shapes that make up the world. I can see how it all comes together when drawing. ✌
Me too!
That's great to hear :) Definitely makes you more observant.
Your videos give me the confidence I missed. You're a good teacher. Thank you!
he is!! so simple yet motivating
Your early "how to draw" videos helped me get into art! Glad to see you're updating these and I hope you get a bunch of new subs. Really well explained man.

I've been trying to draw a comic and to help i watch this series
Many artists out there have emphasized drawing the cube as a basic skill. Paul Cezanne practiced the cube along with the cone and the cylinder. David Chelsea mentions in his book on perspective about drawing cubes and how it is a handy guide for drawing just about anything.
totally agree
No one really teaches me how to draw so you're videos really helps me improve my drawing skills 🥰
I'm so glad!
Dude wtf you are so awesome. You are a very good teacher ngl.
Much appreciated.
This definitely helped me out. Thanks a lot!
Glad to hear
You are great at explaining things...thanks for these videos. 👍💯😁
For sure!
Hello!
First, I just wanted to thank you for your tutorials as they are perfectly explained. Your explanations are simple and clear. I am not exactly a beginner, but I never took into consideration the theory and I wanted to know...so that is the way I found your videos ;)
I am not a native English speaker, but your vids are just PERFECT to understand. In fact, the way you talk and your way to explain the things remind me one of my best friends, an American artist called Axel Void (from Miami), and that, really is a plus for me, as I haven't seen him for ages. IDK, just happy for finding your channel, It's great!
Congrats for your nice art. I wish you good luck with everything you make in life, mate.

Did you know, and as artists, I hope you can relate to this, that the neuro tests make the elderly with no art or interest in art draw a cube with no instruction or a reference. Betty Edwards says people cannot draw cubes without instruction. I'm almost finished with my graphic memoir of how I used my health and fitness knowledge to stop my mother with mild dementia from forgetting me, and it worked. I tricked her off caffeine, then no prescription meds, forced her/tricked her/incentivized her to drink water, kept her away from high fructose corn syrup and other poison, because they made her mean and delusional, and kept her away from gluten. I'm always curious to know what artists think of this fact? My book is about how the right hand is not talking to the left hand with many aspects of our health, and people should use art to help with their caregiving.
Woow
I wish I could have studied architecture. I will be probably be in university by now. I love sketching and studying sketching skills is so awesome. I am going to apply to nursing school. Perhaps I can be a home health Registered nurse. 💗🤍
You can study on your own. Go to your public library and check out some books on architecture. You can often find neighborhood tours. My sister is an interior designer and only went to college for two years. She takes continuing education classes to keep up with trends. Mostly, she read a lot and traveled to see what others do. Go to RN later. There is a shortage in America.
I don't draw but I'm going to give it a go! :)
Sounds good :)
Brandon: The world is made of so many box shape cube shape itemes

What pen/pencil are you using? Thanks.
It's just a brushpen. Use whatever you want, don't get too caught up with the materials.

I can't redo a 10 year old video my friend. It's just a cube. Practice it
Drawing the lines at a certain angle is very hard for some reason and also trying to make straight lines
anyone got any advice for that?
Don't make the lines in one go sketch it till it's straight
Anyone still watching this video after 4 years like me?
Noice

Hi
hello
Everything has a shape...
No doubt
6:15 INFINI BOX seriously that’s an infinite box
You are speaking a lot for just drawing box
Just ignore everything I say
I'd love to draw but does anyone even have the energy to open their eyes each day? There's no point.
What? ._.
@@caribaez5711 I wish I actually had motivation and energy to actually try something new. But I don't.
I’ve been in the same space for a long time
I felt the same pain, of being dead inside and unable to connect to the world. You gotta take small steps, start by finding therapist if you can. Life gets better, make sure you are there to see it
