Leaf Roblox it just came out and comparing it to the other summer games is unheard of. The summer games in 2017 were fun. 2 were popular and one I did not even know of. One game has incredibly easy prizes(theme park tycoon) One was medium(Dodgeball) and the other was hard(icebreaker) #notmyrodrick
I miss this type of egg hunt, it was all just genuienly fun and entertaining. I got all the eggs in the game, just because it was genuienly fun. Sadly, near the end of 2017 and start of 2018, roblox started getting greedier and pumping out community-harming updates (which of course culminated with the temporary removal of events in 2019). This is my favorite egg hunt ever made, I just absolutely loved it as a kid, and I still love it now, and I'll probably still love it as an adult. I genuienly hope roblox returns to this type of events at one point instead of just demaking egg hunt 2015 with worse games and (mostly) horrendous looking eggs. (As a side note, I'm probaly the only person who genuienly LOVED the eggcano and redid it SEVERAL times, mount ignis was an amazing world)
eggcano feels very late game if that makes sense, like one of the final eggs you SHOULD collect, which basically applies to all of mount ignis as it is has the hardest eggs

Out of all the egg hunts I've played, I had the most fun playing this one. I loved every single map & its objectives , and the inclusion of the EBR egg was a fun addition.
My opinion on this egg hunt is that it's great! Honestly, this is probably the most fun I've had on an egg hunt and found myself playing for several hours. Definitely a step up from last years which I found boring and unenjoyable.
10:50 Instead of a Final Boss, there is the EBR Egg which is a Combonation of ALL of the worlds put into one quest. You can even get into a Secret World by doing this.
Yay! I've been waiting so long for this review. Turned out great! The biggest issue I Had with this event was, for the first week ish, you could not join friends. It had been fixed, and they added another week so props to ROBLOX for that.
what about the artic battgrounds? Yah there was only 1 egg there and it looked boring, but it still had it own unique map. Other than the fact it's another snow world.
i'm glad you acknowledged the overuse of quests at the end. maybe just a handful of eggs that would use the traditional "you found it randomly here take it" and the rest being quests would work nice but the only thing i've done with making egg hunts was submitting a single egg to a community egg hunt.
Egg hunt 2017 was by far the best Roblox game I've ever played. It was so fun, had a perfect balance of easy eggs and harder eggs that are satisfying to get, very fun quests and there were a lot of eggs in general, making me spend a huge amount of time on the game. The sounds and everything were perfect, I just can't explain how much I loved this, especially compared to other Roblox events. I also thought the unstable and volcano egg weren't that hard, once you get the hang of the ropes... but that's just my personal opinion. I got every egg in the event (including the admin egg), meaning I got to meet legoseed :)

Anyways, I always come to your annual egg hunt reviews and their very interesting and fun to watch before I play the event. I hope you continue these reviews for later egg hunts because this was great!
This egg hunt was really awesome. The only eggs I really had trouble getting were mummy egg, unstable egg, peep abo egg (I hate how they fix the spawn rate of peep abo when I spent hours looking for it) and eggcano. Other than that most eggs were easy and enjoyable enough to obtain. Most of the eggs designs were really nice. Eggverse being my favourite. Eggtopus and egg of ra being my least. The maps had a great atmosphere and beautiful music (stratosphere, shrine of the eggs, world of tomorrow and northern antarctica being my favourite amongst the music). A fun event overall! Nice review btw
Epikrika Before you try to use the first hook, there is a secret tunnel but the entrance is hidden in the wall. You have to jump through the wall before using the first hook. (Sorry if you already have it)
I did not mind the rope swinging too much honestly. It added some challenge but was not overused by adding it to every single egg. What was most annoying would have to be how in the mummy egg you had to wait one at a time to fight the mummy. The actual boss was the one of the best parts, but it was still annoying.
Auto Agreed. I actually tried a different way to get it by letting the lava kill me so the egg can spawn when its pulled out the pipe thing, then going back, climbing the side of the "Volcano" and getting to it. It would not let me get it.. So i had to do the normal way. >:(

lol i didn't do volcano egg, well i mean the actual minigame. instead for just 15 mins i jumped up the side of the volcano. too bad they patched that later
PROS: -Awesome thumbnails -Greatest graphics -Awesome building -Neat meshes and color texture -Very realistic -Epic GUI CONS: -Quests -EBR egg -One Fabergé -Laggy as heck OVERALL: 8.75/10, the point of egg *hunts* are *hunting* for the eggs. i still liked the objectives, such as 2013 where you had to put the seed in the waterfall or throw the scrambled egg off the cliff. Still very nice though, no doubt. And honestly, the rope swing was a neat idea, You had to get used to it. It was hard, yes, but I got used to it after a short period of time. Nice, new fresh feature.
Personally, the ideal egg hunt would be one that compromises for people who like random egg spawns and quest lovers. Splitting the egg hunt into three fourths quest eggs and one fourth random spawns, therefore last year we’d have 30 quests and 10 random luck eggs creating a nice balance in my opinion.
The rope swinging part? Yeah that was a pain, but you wanna know what else was a pain? The eggs that have objectives where you need to get parts in order to get it. THE PARTS SPAWN RANDOMLY.

To anyone who noticed he has the classic mouse cursor in 2017, its a slight mod you can do to ROBLOX that only effects your client, search it on youtube and you should find it eventually.
The volcano egg is easy if you wear the bunny ear to climb the side of the volcano, if you don't get a partner and jump until you or your partner get to the top. Also, you need a mouse and a great laptop if you want to do it normally.
I agree with the Eggcano egg was hard, but the other egg you said was challenging what I did was: Trigger the event, die, come back, hop up the wall towards the egg- SUCCESS!
fun fact: if you had the bunny ears that increase speed and jump, you can climb the volcano by jumping and you could get the egg without bullshit rope swinging.
Is it only me that found the floorboards more rage inducing than the Ropes? I did manage to get every egg this year, but I have to admit some of the glitches where painful.
About the quest controversy I think that they could possibly make t wo different egg hunts. One where you have quests to get the eggs and another where you just find eggs with a few easy quests to possibly get things like egg launchers, the bunny ears, or maybe a few Easter themed accessories. This would probably clear the controversy and also possibly clear the overmonitising the entire event :P . In truth though, I enjoyed egg hunt 2017 the most out of all the egg hunts. Seeing how much of an improvement 2017 was for egg hunts, I wonder what 2018 will be like. I wonder if it will have a lot of scripting and good designs like this year or go back to slight basics. We all know though that the new terrain will definitely be used.

lol i didn't do volcano egg, well i mean the actual minigame. instead for just 15 mins i jumped up the side of the volcano. too bad they patched that later

OVERALL: 8.75/10, the point of egg *hunts* are *hunting* for the eggs. i still liked the objectives, such as 2013 where you had to put the seed in the waterfall or throw the scrambled egg off the cliff. Still very nice though, no doubt.
And honestly, the rope swing was a neat idea, You had to get used to it. It was hard, yes, but I got used to it after a short period of time. Nice, new fresh feature.
rope swinging wasn't broken, just had weird controls. once you had it down it was pretty easy

Personally, the ideal egg hunt would be one that compromises for people who like random egg spawns and quest lovers. Splitting the egg hunt into three fourths quest eggs and one fourth random spawns, therefore last year we’d have 30 quests and 10 random luck eggs creating a nice balance in my opinion.
The rope swinging part? Yeah that was a pain, but you wanna know what else was a pain? The eggs that have objectives where you need to get parts in order to get it. THE PARTS SPAWN RANDOMLY.

To anyone who noticed he has the classic mouse cursor in 2017, its a slight mod you can do to ROBLOX that only effects your client, search it on youtube and you should find it eventually.
The volcano egg is easy if you wear the bunny ear to climb the side of the volcano, if you don't get a partner and jump until you or your partner get to the top. Also, you need a mouse and a great laptop if you want to do it normally.

Both the Eggcano and Unstable egg have glitches that make it a lot easier to get.

I agree with the Eggcano egg was hard, but the other egg you said was challenging what I did was:
Trigger the event, die, come back, hop up the wall towards the egg- SUCCESS!
I got so tired of the unstable egg, that I found a way to bug the minigame and climbed the mountain to get the egg and It worked... AAA

I spent like 2 hours trying to make it to the top and then I just gave up and tried finding a different way
My favourite world was the volcano world because of the music, quests and the satisfaction of completing the hard ones
fun fact: if you had the bunny ears that increase speed and jump, you can climb the volcano by jumping and you could get the egg without bullshit rope swinging.
Is it only me that found the floorboards more rage inducing than the Ropes?
I did manage to get every egg this year, but I have to admit some of the glitches where painful.
About the quest controversy I think that they could possibly make t wo different egg hunts. One where you have quests to get the eggs and another where you just find eggs with a few easy quests to possibly get things like egg launchers, the bunny ears, or maybe a few Easter themed accessories. This would probably clear the controversy and also possibly clear the overmonitising the entire event :P . In truth though, I enjoyed egg hunt 2017 the most out of all the egg hunts. Seeing how much of an improvement 2017 was for egg hunts, I wonder what 2018 will be like. I wonder if it will have a lot of scripting and good designs like this year or go back to slight basics. We all know though that the new terrain will definitely be used.
In my opinion, the rope swinging thing was really easy to use. The Moana Event way back was good practice for the ropes.
