See Ayoola, Ragga, and Maja in their casin'sor. It looked amazing. Exactly as I would picture it. I also was excited to learn they will use hand talk. And that the hand talk will not be the American, Australian or New Zealand version but rather a specially designed version.

Yeah!!!! Welcome back. We missed you. I wouldn't worry about how often you post if I were you. This is clearly not a career goal. You should focus on having fun. Besides, your material is completely dependent on WoT news and they have been very few lately. Hopefully, the closer we get to season 2 the more you'll have to talk about. I expect an episode by episode analysis once the show is back. I can't wait.

It's also been a long hiatus since I received a notification from this channel. Truth be told, I did quite enjoy all of your old lore videos you put out, alongside the production updates.
But then, I saw the first season and it was completely underwhelming. I am aware of the book series and I casually listened to the prequel and original book (the Black Ajahs were epic). Most of my lore information came from the Daniel Greene videos, so I really expected something special and rich. Alas, there was nothing outstanding from season one. It felt like a completely generic show designed for a YA audience. And I typically enjoy content that others do not, but this was the exception.
Although, I do have to admit that the season 2 production does look promising, but it is not something I am hyped towards. I was hyped for the first season too. I might give it a watch out of curiosity once all of the episodes are out, but that's that. Speaking of which, it definitely baffles me that they are making a season 3 without the second season even coming out, especially after the failure that was Season one. Some odd logic there, or maybe they have a strong level of confidence with the upcoming season.
Either way, we'll see what happens.
Season one wasn't a failure. On the contrary, which is how they could greenlight S3.

@@JesseSierks I do think she is taking over his intro but I don’t think she can take over his entire role, such as in TSR. They could still write around him if they want to but I tend to think he’ll make it in.

No danger we'll see mat fight Gawyn and Gallad in the same season that they show nynaeve fighting with a sword in the same context. Not enough time to be repetitive.
I have a clown-faced confession of a secret fantasy I harbor: what if, since Thom is on set now, they filmed a few scenes with him to insert into S2, and that's contributing to the delay? 🤡

I say "desperate fantasy" is just another name for the Noble-Dark fantasy category that WoT so beautifully fits in right next to LotR.

I hope they don't screw up the Rand and Aviendha story line. It would be a shame.
The Seanchan Empire is about the same size as North America, so while everyone in Seanchan should have a similar-ish accent, if they are going to go with an American based accent it should vary as much as the Texan and Canadian accents do.

Please remind me, how much page time do Perrin and Aviendha share together? IIRC, those two characters barely interact in the first three books. Therefore, I must conclude that any scenes between them is some invented non-canonical crap to cover up the insanity behind giving Perrin a wife in the first place. If they had chosen Bain or Chiad, I could get behind that. That duo hangs around Faile, who Perrin does interact with substantially but not until The Shadow Rising.
A two or more year wait for a new season is much too long....

I could go on and on. When can we admit they have an agenda against the Irish? It isn't the first time they have endured hate while being the scapegoats for everyones problems.

If I had to guess I’d say no. I don’t expect Asmo in season 2 and I think they are being extremely tight with any Forsaken casting.
The problem is, if you have read the books then the tv adaptation is I am afraid rubbish
Read the books almost a dozen times. Love the adaptation. You are free to have your opinion, but pushing negativity when we’re all over here hyping is just poor taste man.

it got a season 2? i love the books but i don't think the series was good at all.
Also has season 3, they are working on it already.
Even if reviews weren't very good, a whole fuckload of people watched it. I'm hoping they do a better job for s2, now that COVID and Mat abruptly leaving mid-season aren't going to be causing production issues
