Great video Jack. Agree with your takes on Ausar. Huge upside. This coaching staff will focus on player development so cause for optimism. Look forward to the rest of the series.
Love the thoughts on this video, I think it’s important this year for fans to remember that it’s about development and figuring out our future, not so much winning but more about seeing how the players can develop together and find an identity as a team
I love iggy and enjoyed the video but I think his ceiling is higher than Iguodala’s and that if he shot 35% from 3 he’d be a mega star. He needs to get the jump shot worked out and keeping the handles tight and lower but I think he can become a legit star player
Yessir, thanks for sticking with me! Ahhhhh, I think I lean towards no in terms of building a team around Ausar without a jumper. However, if he can improve his handle and playmaking, I still think he's a player you heavily consider when assembling a roster. Basically, he'd still be a REALLY valuable piece.
interesting take for sure, I think this is JD's season to prove he can be an anchor defensively and is a guy worth investing in long-term. So I think he starts. But I like your thinking.
@@Pistons_Jack - i'm good with your line of reasoning - i think if there's not enough evidence that duren takes defending the paint seriously by the trade deadline, it's probably time to shop duren around. it's exceedingly rare for a young center to go from bad defensively to good.
Hey Jack. Long time Pistons fan. Fairly new to your channel. Really enjoy your content. Keep it coming!!!
Appreciate the support my friend, got some really big things coming on the channel I can't wait to share!

Thanks Richard! really optimistic about this season, espcially to see Ausar's growth.
@@Pistons_Jack I really wish I shared your optimism (about the season in general, not about Ausar, he rocks).

Tanking appears to be the plan. We're about to enter year five of tanking. How many more before the Pistons start trying to win games?
@@pheralanpathfinder4897 At least one!

Another Andre Roberson
Question. How does a British (or aussie, sorry cant tell) end up a pistons fan?
Hi Jack! And yes, Ausar the SGOTF is the best prospect on this team.
Hi Scott! Not sure I see him as the SGOTF but thats an exciting outcome if he could get there
@@Pistons_Jack It's their only chance. Shit's dire, still.
Welcome Back!!!
Do you think Ausar is good enough to justfiy building a team around a wing who can't shoot like the Bucks did with Giannis?

@@Pistons_Jack It's a moot point anyway, Giannis is a 6-11 monster rather than merely "a wing who can't shoot".
i'd start ausar and stew - i would prioritize ausar's development over duren's. ausar and stew play detroit basketball. duren's more the NY/LA type

@@Pistons_Jack "Anchor"? He's gotta start being horribly garbage first before we can start talking about that.

Ausar is following in the steps of...wait for it....Hamidou Diallo!.....great athlete without a clue as to how to shoot a jump shot or a 3ptr.
