I have had my Garret ATMax for 3 weeks now....It has been the best 2 weeks of Metal detecting in 8 years of detecting!! OH MY GOODNESS!! I am in Canada, and I have been detecting our own farmlands about 1000 acres, and we have 7 pioneer homestead locations that I am able to detect, plus I just got an invite to do a 183 year old church property, that is being converted to a house!! I have found so many more things, and coins and artifacts...Thanks for the tips with the settings, and paying attention to some of the lower number readings...Found my father inlaws Lost wedding ring that had been searched for, for 13 years!! Hope you have a great week!! I will be swinging my maxy here this week like crazy!! ALL THE BEST!!

I find all metal mode great for separating,I put it on all metal.turn off iron audio then decriminate to 35 as you do and only turn on iron audio when I’ve found something,Xx

Hi Dawn Love your vids, you have revived my interest in metal detecting which I did in the early 80s using a fieldmaster detector with could be classed as an antique nowadays but it still works, having just retired I think this will be my main hobby from now now on having plenty of time on my hands,you mentioned in one of your vids you you did a dig in Preston whereabouts asI'm in Preston? and what did you find. Dawn - Congrats on the big cart wheel and the silver Vic! She is a nice one with lots of detail! Dawn it is a possibility that there was pollen out in the earlier part of the year that has run its course. Possibly you were having an allergic reaction to it! Hope you continue to feel better. Local honey can help you too if you eat it.
Hi Brian, no ive been suffering almost 12 months a year, it just usually gets a lot worse around Easter and right through summer, usually buttercups make me really ill, today I was wading through a buttercup field without a care in the world, I dont know whats happened but im SO glad

You have done superb with your allergies. There is a technique used to "desensitize" a person to things buy constant exposure. That is my guess that you have desensitized yourself to the allergens. Nice coins Dawn.

Missed you last week, glad to see you struck silver, I finally dug silver last week, the first one evening and the second the next evening, both were dimes (10 cents American) in a park I played in as a child, I had not found any silver coins since last year. Happy hunting !

I just got home from an evening hunt after closing shop and "Maximus" hit silver number three, 1946 Roosevelt dime, no cartwheel or six pence but any silver for us Yanks is good, our last silver coinage was 1964 except our half dollar that was 40% silver from 1965-1970. Digger Dawn at my work yesterday we had a lovely chap and his girlfriend out here visiting from the uk, we all had a chuckle as it was raining and he made the comment boy your weather is similar to back home lol only at this time of year , I said normally too hot here but winter has finally arrived, where I live it hasn’t snowed since 1966 but snows close by about a 35 km drive from us, we are in the low lying area and Beechworth is up a bit higher so they get snow pretty much every winter, brrr we just get the cold wind and rain but you just never know winter snows are early this year it may just snow here again, loved it last time it happened but then again I was only about 5 and a half years old and just started school 😁🌨🌨🌨❄️❄️☃️ , big hugs and here’s to a gold in the hole soon for you👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻💖💖🇦🇺

mine was terrible every time i looked in a hole my nose dribbled in and i had to edit out sniffs all the time, ive had this year round for years, dont know why its suddenly stopped? im so relieved
