I love how the thumbnail for this video makes it look like he was crying, but he's really just wiping sweat off his brow. That being said, Portland a truly classy city. Those were the correct things to show how a man impacted your city in positive ways; plenty of hoopers can have amazing moments, but the way he touched the lives in that place is gonna have ripple effects that last for a long, long time.

IMO that’s what being a top professional athlete is about. Ofc we want our favorite players/teams to win, but when you’re able to touch peoples lives in the community, nothing really beats that. In this day and age where players are all about themselves, it’s refreshing to see a star like Dame.

Stafford got nothing but boos in his return to Detroit. Nice to see people actually appreciate a great player when they had one. Even if hes currently in another jersey. His impact is still there.
Stafford got disrespected and the entire purpose of that game was to see him light it up in Detroit, which he did, but he should've received a standing ovation at least after losing. Instead of still getting boo'd out the stadium.
This right here is how you handle a return of a player that impacted your team.

Dame is an awesome basketball player and an even awesome human being. You can criticize him for his play (based on society’s own lofty standards) but you can’t say anything about the person that he is.
He has done more for Portland than any other player that came to play there.

    • @_WeDontKnow_
