For those complaining about the pasture space, that is not a pasture. The sheep are grouped closely together for processing to ensure efficiency. They have plenty of space when they're not being processed.

Can we just report this for misinformation? :D No excess abuse, no violence... the sheering process may seem frightening but this is how they are calm. I am not saying one cannot love a sheep more, and tend to it more carefully, but it's simply about the numbers. It is sad, but at least they have medical treatments and regular wool maintenance. Some moments where they are tight together is needed for their inspections. It is no different then when you take a dog to a vet. Difference is, your dog might live in a small house in it's entire life, to your entertainment and may suffer a lot of problems cause of your neglect and lack of knowledge :D

That’s just during processing. It’s partly due to efficiency and partly to keep them compliant. Most of the time they have plenty of space.
