I've met and chatted with Common on a few occasions. Believe me when I say he is just like he appears on this show. Very gentle and attentive spirit. And he does look that good in person. I saw him 3 years ago so I know not much has changed.

Since the beginning of Kelly’s show, several people have been commenting to her online that she never lets her guests finish their sentences without her interrupting them and making their personal experience all about her. I assume that her or her team does not look at the comments because she will not stop this annoying rude habit of hers even though most of her fans would like her to stop it as seen in many of the comments on here today! She needs some PR training on how to have a back and forth conversation with an adult by listening first, and then replying when the other person finishes their thought. Maybe she will eventually get better with age and wisdom!

I came across this by accident. If I can give some feedback it would be for Kelly to please let the guest talk. Several times she cut him off and made it all about her.
I love his voice it’s so soothing and strong at the same time.

Yeah Kelly needs some more PR training. They need to teach her how to have a real conversation by listening to her guests, give them a chance to speak and then reply. She constantly interrupts her guests and over talks them before they can make a complete sentence. She also needs to stop interrupting her guests to make whatever subject they are talking about all about her. I just can’t believe that the executives have let her do this for so long without correcting her communication skills. We love Kelly, but she needs to correct this major issue if she wants to continue to be a successful talk show host!

It gets a little annoying when she interrupted her guest so frequently BUT IT'S UNDERSTANDABLE and the conversation continued smoothly on the same topic.
Some interruption is normal in a conversation with friends when we're trying to share opinions and being supportive of ones' thoughts.
It posts more benefits than harm in this situation. It helps the guest feel more comfortable and active in a conversation. And in several times, it helps the guest out when they're weighing their opinions on something.

Yea but there is still an audience, that’s the point of the show. Cut people off on the phone or in private, cutting people of in an interview can be uncomfortable for people to watch
I think she is just so truly excited to hear people and they connect in some way. So in her excitement she wants to say..hey I understand you here is why. She'll get better. First season of anything is a learning curve. And covid is making season 2 just wacky. At least I know she actually is intrigued and wants to know people. Jimmy Fallon interrupts but don't feel he wants to hear some of it😂
Well she is pretty severe at it. She asks a good question and BAM! right in the middle of a great response she's bouncing onto something else. I don't think she means it. She is very exciteable.
