I remember listening to this with my friend in quarantine last year and just sitting there in an absolute trance. The connection between the musicians and their instruments is unlike anything I've ever seen before, it's really like a window into each of their consciences. Not just that but the communication between the two of them - the percussion giving the rhythm and energy so the ney can dance around, it's stunning. My friend and I talk about "circle guy and stick guy" from time to time lol

The Turkish nation has existed for thousands of years and is one of the oldest and largest nations in the world. Throughout history, they have been throughout the Eurasian continent and even in Africa. Dozens of Turkish words have been identified even in the Sumerian language of 5000 years ago, but despicable devils like you think they can glorify their despicable selves by ignoring us Turks and wanting to destroy them. Don't do Armenian nationalism here, just listen to the music.

Kudsi Erguner is a master of the Turkish nay. I think he added some variations to the classical Turkish style, which was quite interesting to hear. Loved the percussionist too!
This music..it arouses something so pure in your mind n soul. It feels like ancient music from an ancient land. How we humans just divide and divide and divide. Music just unites. Thank you for putting it out here for us all to experience. Love from India.
if only you had said "love from earth"...
Great and nice thinking, the music remind us our unity.
We humans are a pretty sad lot on the whole. Yet music can cure us, if we let it... I love what these two are doing, I'm blessed to be a passionate musician myself.
I KNEW A NATIVE AMERICAN. INDIAN WHO PLAYED A SIMILAR FLUTE WITH A SIMILAR SOUL. IS THIS MOURNFUL CRY UNIVERSAL? IT HEALS. WILL IT HELP HEAL THIS PLANET??
Yes, it will, Linda, if we open ourselves to it. Because when we're open, energy flows naturally, inside us and between us. And we find that it's not only with music, that's what helps us open up but that's 'just' the beginning. There are no limits to what we can be, we are in essence divine, just like all other beings. So keep listening to music, real music, not the stuff that's part of the propaganda machine coming out of radio, tv, and various other outlets. This pollution is invading our space all the time and so we need to be very discerning. Only music from the heart is real, and therefore only our hearts can recognize it. It's one of the greatest blessings in our lives...
